Finishing up season 1. It was glorious in HD. Makes me wish for a prequel season, to show Avon and String's "quiet" rise to power....*sigh*

and I had to watch much of season 1 twice. I really think this show is hard to binge on (though it is more than conducive to binging). So much to think about with each episode.

Yep, they will be running all 5 season the next few days. They all start at noon and except for season 5 will end at 1 am EST the following morning. Season 5 being only 10 episodes will only run for 10 hours.

I'll probably catch a few episodes of season 3 up until the Packers game but then I'll miss all of Season 4 on Monday due to work and also going to Raw in DC.

I just finished watching the whole series again a few weeks ago. Its extremely good, everyone knows that. I just have to say, for those of you who haven't seen The Shield(which The Wire is often compared to), that show is on another level. There weren't any bad episodes or bad seasons. It was outstanding all the way through.

If they are compared, they probably shouldn't be, outside of having to deal with cops they don't have much in common imo.
