There’s no rules in Rap Beefs.

Don’t ever let someone tell you that lie and don’t be foolish enough to believe it either.

Exactly, look at all the crazy **** Pac, Eazy E, Dre and so many other rappers from previous era's said.

It might not be appropriate or acceptable but in rap beef anything goes.

Kanye is beyond help. Dude is getting shredded. Snoop on IG the other day killed me. Uncle Ruckus even chimed in, that was perfect.

Albums were super weak last week. Belly is mediocre, but Immigrant the song is worth it for Meek's verse. Speaking of Meek, dude is blessing features right now. Jefe off of TI's album might be beat of the year. Ella Mai's album was an Ella Mai album. She sounds like she fell from a wormhole in time from 2005, hearing her on all the Mustard beats just brings back Ashanti/Amerie kinda pop stuff to me. It's not bad but it's eh.

Looking like a fairly dry week this week as well, Yachty and Khalid. Roc Marciano just dropped his third project of the year, I heard it's supposed to hit streaming on Friday, he always does the $25 early purchase thing. Just waiting on Mick Jenkins next Friday and Curren$y & Freddie Gibbs collab tape on Halloween.

Side note, got tickets to see Travis in DC in late November. Not really a concert person but Travis Scott, Trippie Redd, Gunna, and Sheck Wes is a wild lineup. Should be a good time.

Music video for Pretty Little Fears dropped yesterday.

Not exactly new for this thread, but another excuse to plug this super smooth album will not go unmissed.

Meek is always a monster on features.

Been like that for years. Had an opportunity to go see Travis but that lineup made it an easy decision for me. Saw Gunna at Bowie St’s Homecoming this past weekend and thought he was ok live.

I’m good on everybody else though, lol.

Mudboy (Sheck Wes's album) was unrepentant trash so I'm curious to see what he does. I just want Mo Bamba. Side note I just heard the 2k mix of that song for the first time yesterday and lmaoooo. Why would they even put it in the game?

And they changed the lyrics to "I got coooooach caaaaallllllin" hysterical.

I really hope this new Roc Marciano is mixed right. His last joint was a banger by his voice was drowned out a lot by the beats.

You're talking about Behold a Dark Horse? I feel like that's the best mix I've heard outta his stuff, the first Rosebudd's Revenge sounded like a kid in a dorm room on a $10 mic. It's so weird how stuff like that makes it through to release.

Also, your phone seems to be glitching, your emojis aren't popping up right. Your [emoji91] emoji looks a little off.

Yeah it’s definitely not trash, but if we were to rank this out of the other 4, it would be closer to the middle/bottom than it would the top.

For sure, 4 as a whole is definitely the worst. I'd probably take 5 over 1 but I haven't heard it all the way through in a while. 3 has a solid shot for my favorite, but 2 is the best IMO. Hustler Musik is his best song, then Hit Em Up, Best Rapper Alive, Fireman. 3 is the GOAT pop rap album. Lollipop, Mrs Officer, A Milli, Got Money, the singles were insane. Let the Beat Build and Shoot Me Down are both dope.

The leaked C3 though... Love Me Or Hate Me, I'm Me, Kush, Gossip, too good.

Push is on Budden's show talking about how 40 was talking to some chick and she was the one who gave him the Drake's kid info, not Kanye...hard to believe but I still don't think Kanye is THAT kind of a snake. We need the Drake diss collab ASAP, stop playing with retirement Joe.

Found out KTT keeps a calendar of releases and that and Apple Music do a much better job of helping me figure out what to listen to over the weekend. A lot of mid recently but some gems:

Future ruined the collab album between him and Juice WRLD. They just have no chemistry and their sounds don't go well together. Juice is in his hip-pop bag on Fine China, terrible lyrics and all, and then Future comes in sounding like a wounded animal. I like Future, it just didn't work, and honestly, it's been a minute since I heard anything from Future and got excited but that's a different issue. Khalid's EP wasn't any good to me, his stuff is boring. Lil Mosey is a 16 year old from Seattle who makes generic autotune music but he's got a decent sound and a nice flow. Noticed blew up a while ago, Kamikaze is next, he has a song on his tape called Greet Her that's a flip of Yo by Chris Brown which I just thought was wild because he's 16 and was I think 3 when that song came out. Anyway, it's decent. Open Mike Eagle's tape was pretty solid. Yachty is just terrible lol, he's funny so some of his stuff is ok but man so often he's the worst part of his songs, his features just kill him. Juice WRLD, Trippie, Lil Baby, Carti, everyone. Apple Music doing Roc favors, his stuff is much more listenable, some great instrumentals on there.

Summer Walker put out like an R&B tape, I like Deep and Smartwater a lot, all her songs are like 2 and a half minutes, I love it. I'm a pretty big Tory Lanez fan, but his new album is mostly trash, him trying really hard to get a pop hit. Swing is dope though. Gunna came through. Dude even had a bad Meek feature, and the way he titled his songs is just an eyesore. Mih-Ty is what you'd expect from a collab between Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign, FYT is heat. I always wonder how French gets an opportunity to ruin these songs but then I remember the original was a Biggie song so they probably had to go to Diddy to get it cleared and he got his guy put on there. Joell Ortiz has a pretty decent tape out, there's a few songs that he doesn't go as hard on as I'd want but he comes through on others. That Place is a great record, Decisions and My Block are dope too. Most importantly though...Mick didn't disappoint! Pieces of a Man is dope, like a solid 4 outta 5, I love the smooth beats he chose to go over, lots of jazz, has a real Section .80 vibe.

Freddie Gibbs, Curren$y & The Alchemist - Fetti

                              1. Gibbs has become my favorite pound-for-pound rapper nowadays.

                              2. Curren$y stood no chance in this.

                              3. Alchemist [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91]

Yo I was gonna say, Gibbs ate Curren$y on that. His flow on Willie Lloyd is nuts, dude can go over any beat. Curren$y came in too smooth on the intro and Gibbs came in with "We tapin' mamas up, we fillin' them llamas up, ****** makin' statements they Manafort/Papadopoulus" I just knew how this was gonna go. Can't wait for Bandana next year, Gibbs on Alchemist production is undefeated.
