Listening to Seeing Green again and noticed Wayne's voice sounds kinda weird at the beginning of his verse, but clears up pretty quick. This man was really wearing and took off a Balenciaga mask at the beginning of his verse lmao, my GOAT is the king of props.

Off-Season is legit. I really enjoy KOD, but I don't remember wanting to listen to it three straight times through. Why the **** the vinyl gotta be $40 though? Damn. Might have to rob a gas station later.

Can't remember what it was (maybe the JBP breakup) but something had me going back and watching a bunch of reaction videos from that time, so much fun.


I have listened to Punchin' the clock like a hundred times already, I don't think I've ever heard J. Cole rapping better than on that song. Not sure why, it's not like the deluxe is different from what Durk has been doing forever but these songs hit me different for some reason, the collab tape with him and Lil Baby could be interesting.


Then DEHH put me on to Kenny Mason from Atlanta, hip-hop is just in the water there at this point

Definitely one of my favorites from the album. 100 mil might be my favorite, though. 95 south and pride is the devil also hit hard to me. Let go my hand is a great slow burner. Just a fantastic album from start to finish honestly.

I'm still spinning Bandana and Eve on the regular so I can see me adding this new J Cole to that list.

Royce backing out on IG live talking about he doesn’t think it’s cool to put certain energy out after a certain age, all after saying Lupe wasn’t a killer and “I’ll put a hole in your son while he’s holding your sun chips”. Drake ended rap beef when he said “Trigger fingers turned to Twitter fingers.” You hate to see it.

That’s me with Royce, his stuff goes back further so I was a kid and he was the Bad Meets Evil guy, then he was in Slaughterhouse where Crooked stood out to me more than anyone, then Prhyme where Black Thoughts verse erased everything else on that album. I Play Forever was the first song I really loved as a Royce solo track, I just heard Boom for the first time. Now that he’s Draked out of the beef I don’t feel the need to go back and listen to the rest. Motown 25 with Elzhi is my **** though.

If you saw the IG shenanigans, Ransom was involved in all of this and on his newest album (which is dope btw): “Let’s find a trophy we can all hoist, you tryna flip a 9-5, somebody call Royce” and “I told you all that every bar’s amazing, they said prove it but that’s what they told Noah before it started raining”

This was before SLR 3 1/2 (first half is literally him just reciting Royce’s bars which he mentions in it)
