Still a lot to listen to but Benny's album is good halfway through and Nicki on Whole Lotta Choppas is amazing.

Yeah this album is dope. It's weird because through the first half I was thinking this album is amazingly old school as far as features but not in a bad way, it doesn't sound outdated sonically. I almost went super saiyan listening to the Farrakhan skit. I will say as someone who dislikes skits, for this guy to put Chris Rock at the end of some of these songs but then to separate the MJ interlude from the Kendrick song was a mistake, it still works cool like All of the Lights and its interlude but I would've just put it at the beginning. When that song was released by itself I listened and was like what in the world...then I realized it leaked 2 years ago and has been in my iTunes since then lol. The Ross song is dope too. I didn't know what to expect from this but I'm happy with it.

I'm so mad for sleeping on the Griselda crew. Damn. Outside of Gibbs, they're my new favorite thing going right now.

Still haven't had a chance to listen to the new Busta yet admittedly.

I finally listened to the new Busta this weekend. Its definitely a blast from the past, but I feel like they walk a fine line without it sounding rehashed or "old school" in a dated sort of way. It has that nostalgic flavor to it, but still has a freshness to it.

Features are fantastic and Busta is just going off the whole time. Great album.

Imagine a guy listening to his favorite song all year, and then when the official version comes out the artist adds two of the guy’s favorite voices on it. I am the guy, and Ransom with Kehlani and 6lack is beautiful, ****ing love KEHLANI’S voice.

I need JODYE’s take on Meg dissing his guy, go find this man.

I only saw a clip (not a Jeezy fan) but Gucci putting as much sauce as he did on “go dig ya patna up, bet he can’t say ****” during Truth was all I wanted.

That was funny lol. Played diss tracks towards Jeezy back to back in his face lol. Almost had to be planned out.
What I liked about it last night was that it wasn't just Radio hits. I liked Fab vs Jada, but it was straight radio hits. Least this shows that you can do the mix tape/street songs that they're really famous for

What are you guys leaning on as your favorites for this year?

Taking a look through my 2020 playlist - I barely remember January through April/May.

I think, for now, mine would need to include Gibbs, Busta, and RTJ.

Rap: Stove God Cooks Reasonable Drought, both of Key Glock's tapes, I don't listen to the full Royce album all the way through but I Play Forever is one of my favorite songs of the year at this point...nothing new but Griselda went stupid this year especially adding Boldy to the label, love both Price of Tea in China and Manger on McNichols, then WSG gave us Pray for Paris, Polo G's album has a lot of songs I really liked, Deante Hitchcock Better is super underrated, Ramirez Tha Playa$ Manual, Alfredo, Spilligion, and I'm really liking Saint Jhn's new album.

R&B: Partymobile grew on me CRAZY, Turn Up, Split Decision, Showing You, Another Day, he really has some amazing songs on there. Kehlani's album was dope, The Weeknd After Hours, Umi Introspection, Jhene's album was cool, Kaash Paige's album, Bryson Tiller's album was just ok but I love Inhale mostly for sample reasons but still, Xavier Omar If You Feel. Damage is one of H.E.R.'s best songs, can't wait for her next album.

I'm sure I've forgotten a few. I'm still down half a day in time from my 2020 playlist (1560 songs, 3.4 days) to 2019 (1748, 3.9) but it's been a pretty good year.

                              Statik’s album is dope.
Only halfway through No Ceilings 3 but listening to Lamar and remembering back to the I Am Not A Human Being II days I can’t believe he’s come this far back, it’s great to hear.
Haven’t been able to stop listening to the songs Drakeo has been putting out since he got out, hopefully he re-records the entire prison album.
