Game taking shots at Jay-z again? Not surprised in the least bit. Must got a new cd coming out real soon.

Game = Ron Artest of Rap.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Well I guess I shouldn't have said Game fires shots at Jay "for some reason". I completely forgot that Jay put Game's name in his intro to Blueprint 3.

Seems like Jay knew that Game would respond immediately further building buzz for Blueprint 3. Plottin ninja SMH, putting names out there that's he's been mentioning for the past how many years. Also Game doin the same thing with building the hype for his next album.

"In recent years, New York rapper Jay-Z isn't known to dive head first into the controversy that surrounds him.

From former partners Dame Dash and Jaz-O taking shots at him to Jim Jones and other Dipset members throwing jabs his way, the Marcy Projects MC has quietly dismissed them all.

However, in what's believed to be the intro to his forthcoming lp, Blue Print 3, Jay fires back at most of his foes.

        I ain't talking about profit, I'm talking about pain/

I'm talking about despair, I'm talking about shame/

        I ain't talking about gossip, I ain't talking about Game/

        I ain't talking about Jimmy, I ain't talking bout Dame/

In just a couple of bars, Jay even addressed Jaz-O, who has been involved in a one-sided beef with the Hip Hop mogul for some time now.

Tryna rewrite history, lets talk about facts/

Dame made millions, even Jaz made some scraps/

He coulda made more but he ain't sign his contracts/

And for the street guys, we was dealing crack/

That's how the game goes, I don't owe nobody Jack/

Father em, want me to sit them on my lap/

        But I don't have a beard, Santa Clause ain't black/

You can listen to a live recording of the intro here.

Jay-Z's Blue Print 3 will be hitting stores on September 11th, 2009."

He can mention Jaz and Dame (who doesn't even rap), but he can't mention Joe Budden?

Why do I have a feeling that BP3 won't be that good? The hype that it's getting right now is the same the Tha Carter 3 got, and we all knew disappointing that album was, save for 2-3 songs.

Because he really doesn't want it with Joe.

The last two albums from Hova have been pretty bad IMO.

Swagger like Us [might be left off since has auto tune], Jockin Jay-Z and DOA are confirmed BP3 tracks but will not get play from me.

I was never excited about BP3

Why in the world would he throw old *** Swagger Like Us and Jockin Jay-z on there? This is why I hate most NY/NJ Rap man.

Damn when the hell does Big Boi, Andre 3000 solo albums come out or even an Outkast album...

Black Album was ok with me. Especially 9th Wonder's remix album. 9th's album was fire IMO.

I don't think it's out yet. It's been reported that it would drop this month though and that it will be the first radio single off BP3. Featuring Drake.
