So I just bought because the internet. I only dabble in rap music, but man, Gambino is awesome.

Now, take these with a grain of salt, because like I said, I only dabble in rap:

Favorite album: because the internet. I have Yeezus, because the internet, and MMLP2, so of course, my range is limited. But because the internet is already one of my favorites. Great stuff.

    Favorite verse(s)
: Rap God for sure. How the hell does Em do that?

    Favorite tracks (No order):
    Eminem - Rap God
    Eminem - Rhyme or Reason
    Childish Gambino - 3005
    Kanye West - New Slaves
Childish Gambino - earth: the oldest computer

Went to see Talib Kweli and Dead Prez live in Sydney overnight...big fan of Kweli (although I haven't heard "Gravitas" yet), and while I've never really listened to much DP, they both put on a great show too.

Finished off 2013 with seeing The Roots and De La Soul (separately) live too. Have seen the latter already twice, first time for the former and they were damn impressive live! Turned into a rock concert by the end with them covering Guns & Roses and other rock songs. Also discovered what a sousaphone is lol...I thought it was a tuba haha

If I wasn't starting a new job next week, I would've seriously thought about going back to Coachella just for them (like I did for Jay-Z back in 2010)

Hopefully for me it kicks off a world tour.

Pretty much the only time the radio is worth listening to up here is the Sound Session for me.
Damn. I finally got time to check out the Physics new album this week and I love it. Been playing it on loop all week. But how can you not love a group who makes this track:

As far as KUBE...I don't know what to say. I was in Seattle over the Holidays and they were playing Katy Perry. I remember back when they at least played hip-hop even if it was the same 5 songs on rotation. And the "Old School Lunch" was the best time to listen, since it would be the only time the station would mix up the song rotation (with the exception of "It Was a Good Day," which I swore was played every day).

French Montana did a remix on his Coke Boys 4 mixtape but it's too long for me so I found the original and have been bumping it for the last few days. Beat goes too hard.
