Its not as bad as it was when it first released but yeah, it's still pretty damn bad. I don't see how it's getting put over a lot of the other albums from this year.

Something about Devil Is A Lie isn't clicking with me. I don't dislike it or anything, but I can't walk around campus with it blaring in my headphones like Free Mason. I'm disappointed.

As far as Yeezus, it's not in my top 5 albums this year. I'd put Nothing Was The Same, Watching Movies with the Sound Off, Because the Internet, LongLiveASAP, and Precious (Young Chop) over it if not more.

I know you weren't talking to me, but figured I'd throw my 2 cents in anyway. I actually hate that ****. Jay's verse is garbage. I do like the album as a whole, even though it's weird seeing Beyonce get all sexual and whatnot.

Yeezus is too high and French Montana has no business being on this list because outside of like 3 songs on there, that album was trash.

On another note, ya'll need to check out that new Lox though!

Do you guys see the video or just an empy space where it should be? Idk what I'm doing wrong here... Copied the embed code and selected use old code.

Anyway if the video doesn't work I'm surprised to see a lack of Death Grips talk in here. The video is their newest album in it's entirety. I wanted to post an individual song but I couldn't get to it without it being part of a playlist and that wouldn't let me use the old code.

If you haven't heard of them before you might want to listen to something off of either The Money Store or No Love Deep Web to get a better feel for MC Ride's rapping. Their newest album Government Plates is a lot more about the production than the lyrics unlike other Death Grips releases. Not that the production of their other albums is bad it just tends to take a backseat to MC Ride.

                      Love his video, "Faded."

Macklemore definitely isn't for everyone. I love his stuff, but I can see why others don't. But Seattle hip-hop is filthy right now. So many good acts out there:

                      Blue Scholars
                      Sol
                      Dyme Def
                      Eighty4Fly
                      Fresh Espresso
                      The Physics
                      Nacho Picasso
                      RA Scion

I know I'm forgetting a few too. There's not a "Seattle sound" which is cool and allows a lot of different acts to pop up there.
Funny enough a few days after you posted this, The Physics were featured on KUBE's Sunday Night Sound Session the entire second half because they just released a new album for free.

                      Link to the show

Pretty much the only time the radio is worth listening to up here is the Sound Session for me.
