You just need to do a fresh reboot of your hip hop playlist. You got people here who can/will help you get the right workout playlist for you. You have the right artists, but you’re just using the wrong tracks from them.

The people who gave T-Pain **** were on the wrong side of history. Auto tune is hit or miss, some people use it really well.
In the Club and Lean Back are slower than On the Come Up so it's definitely nostalgia.

Finishing up my song and album rankings, thinking I'm about done, in steps Roc Marciano. The features and verses on Marcielago are just nuts. The beat switches on Tom Chambers, Ka on Ephesians, Puff Daddy is stuck in my head, Cook$ verse is perfect. "Puff Daddy with the pot, can't stop won't stop, I'm over the stove hitting it with the baking soda like take that take that" "Your favorite rapper testify I'm extra fire, money talks your **** extra Tesla quiet" "I got a shooter with me and a shaman, we gon take your soul and analyze it" "Stove guy, Abba of the pot, we just packed the Ariana Grande in the drop, my young boy Ramadan your block", TOO GOOD.

In Da Club was upbeat enough to get you moving, but not enough to break a sweat doing it. Basically a good club song.

I have to say I didn't really realize we were kicking over into another decade until a couple weeks ago.

5 more immaculate Griselda projects, Drake, Meek, pretty much anyone that didn’t drop last year.
Anyone watching Rhythm + Flow on Netflix? It’s a rap competition show like American Idol. I will say I think the premise of the show is kinda flawed and I don’t think this is the way to find a rapper, but I do really like it. The challenges are cool (cypher, battle rap, they choose a sample to flip and make a song out of it, shoot a music video in their hometown, etc.). I think the format is dope. The judges are pretty good together too.
Anyway, dude who won, D Smoke is SiR’s brother, sounds like Kendrick out of the GKMC era. His song, When the Kids Pull Up, is great.
Snubnose by Grip is also worth a listen, dude from Atlanta, listen to the first song, it’s got a I Gave You Power spin to it.

Meek rode the Championship wave all last year so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s 2021.

Yeah I liked the show, wished Old Man Saxson had more time to show what he got because he's dope. Check out his YouTube if you have a chance.
