Slim never went nowhere, just been testing new horizons.

I'm gonna support whatever the man does.

I'm really feeling Blackout 2 after a spin and a half.

As far as Eminem, it's been discussed to death, but I'd like to add something.

If you listen to the album, it's supposed to be a "concept album". The reason I'm pointing this out is that the last two tracks are his skit saying that there are two albums, and then it goes right into "Underground", which is vastly different to the whole tone of the album (which by and large is underwhelming), and not surprisingly, the last track is the best song on the album. My hope is that "Underground" is a preview of the tone and type of album we'll get from Relapse 2. Hopefully, it's not just crap that wasn't good enough to make Relapse.

I'm going to hold out hope that my wishful thinking theory is correct.

He definitely makes Relapse II sound like it's something serious. I really doubt it's going to be worse than Relapse.

The Zshare file hosting providing website had been shut down many few years ago. The new zShare website is a news blog that publishes the latest trending news on the web. So what happened to the old Zshare? As the new owner of the domain zshare.net, I honestly don’t know. The domain had not been

That sounds like it would be a Biggie song.

Yeah it does sound like it should be for Biggie.

I've been waiting for some new Lupe for a long minute.

Same here, I never play The Cool, I may as well delete it from my computer.

This track was cool I guess

Sounds a lot like his old stuff.

I don't know. I kinda wish Lupe was an artist like Wayne or Kanye, who seem to drop a new hit every week. But an artist like him seems to put a lot of thought/details into every single track, so it must be a longer process.

I never really listened to it until I saw him do some of the songs live and for some reason I started loving it after his concert.

I love The Cool and Food & Liquor so much... No artist (except maybe Biggie) has given me such quality in a short amount of time. Nas is my favorite rapper due to his longevity and sheer quantity of dope music, but if Lupe continues to grow and put out albums like his first two, Nas will soon be usurped.

Food & Liquor > The Cool

The Cool isn't bad but it's more of a laid back CD. Food & Liquor has some of the best production/hooks on it for a debut CD.

There are too many artists out there that have decent lyrics, good production, and then drop a weak hook that kills the whole song. If you're an artist and you know you can't write hooks let someone else do it.

I agree that The Cool had a lot of weak hooks (other than Superstar and Hip Hop Saved My Life, which is one of my favorite hooks), but it didn't really take away from the album for me.

I love the characters Lupe developes in his music, and it makes every song very interesting.

FnL > Cool, but sometimes you could flip a coin depending on the mood.

One thing that I give props for the improvement Lupe showed in regards to his breath control. On FnL, it's pretty much become the "Stuart Scott's Eye" thing.
