I think it's funny reading all these theories and discussions from guys that harp on the show a little too much. Isn't that the signs of a good show? One that continuously promotes discussion, insight, any type of emotion?

As much as some of you "hate" what is going on with the show... you're still watching.

I personally love all the theories and unknown speculation from the show... that's half of the charm.

Couldn't agree more Pared. What kept be coming back to the show and watching season 1 in about 2 days was that after EVERY episode my "thoughts" or "theories" would change or be completely thrown out for new ones. Watching season 1 of lost was one of the best TV experiences for me because I was constantly being challenged to figure out what would happen next. Great writing and story telling in lost.

Could be possible. If it is then Eloise is full of ****? She said through the equation that they determined when a pocket would form. She couldn't be basing that on Locke turning the wheel as how could she plan this all out and know when he would do it?

Unless they already knew what had happened to Ben. That's the only explanation I can think of.

Good catch, hopefully they fill us in. I still think at least Jack would be like WTF? He knew Ben was going to do a "Favor".

I am always scared after an episode is over that I will hear the dreaded "In 3 weeks or when lost returns".

This show keeps me from losing my sanity.

I personally thought this was the worst episode of season 5 so far.

Locke's episodes are always interesting and there was some fine character development and acting, but this episode really told us nothing new at all and left us nothing to speculate about for the next week. We already knew Ben lied about how Locke died, we already knew Widmore and Ben had drawn up sides against each other, and we already knew that we had no idea which one of them to trust. Whoop-de-do.

The only question I have is whether it was Ben's intent to kill Locke prior to hearing Eloise Hawking's name, or whether he killed Locke because he was too afraid of Locke telling Widmore who Eloise Hawking was.

It was also cool how we saw Locke standing on the shore looking at the main island - because Lapidus had landed the plane on the runway on the other island that the Others (with help from Kate, Jack and Sawyer) were building a few seasons ago.

Otherwise....meh. Locke is special, war is coming, Ben or Widmore....blah blah blah.

You need to have these types of episodes, this is the first episode where we got the sense that Widmore might be one of the good guys especially after the whole tanker fiasco.

Plus we got the connection between jacks dad in the coffin and coming back to life on the island and now the same happening to locke.

The question I have is why did ben kill locke then go thru all the effort protecting his body to bring it back to the island. Does Ben know locke will come back to life when he reaches the island? Does Ben know about Jack's father being alive?

I thought it was an amazing episode.

Why bring Walt back into the mix? that whole sequence doesn't make any sense. Under contract for 1 episode this year?

Locke says he doesn't have to go back because he's been through enough. Hilarious. Look at what all these other clowns have been through.

Decent episode. Indestuctable, Assassin, Dead Aim, Mind Wizard Ben is becoming annoying though. You just have to know that they are making him look so evil to give you a suprise ending.

Logically, it would seem that Widmore would be one of the good guys. Ben tricked him off the island. But it never seemed hard for Alpert or Ben to leave and come back. Seems like if Widmore would have been close to Alpert, he'd havve known how to get back.

One other question. Hawking doesn't like Ben based on her comments that he always lies. I wonder if Locke showed up to see Hawking if she'd recognize him as the leader and Ben would be non factor. Ben moved the island, Jacks dad said it was supposed to be Locke. If Locke had moved the island, he'd have been the one getting everyone together and not Ben. What is the imact of that? That has to be why Ben killed Locke, right?
