Ok, that last half of the sentence made me laugh.

On another note, I'm thinking Locke will be resurrected in S6. I disagree with a couple of comments earlier in the thread mentioning Jack vs Locke in S6. The real Locke is genuinely good and was hand selected by Jacob to come to the island to do good things. There's no way he's staying dead when the whole premise of the good vs evil war is human redemption...Locke still hasn't redeemed himself.

And I'm guessing Juliet is a goner. ABC is claiming she's only a guest star on 'V' next season, but they wouldn't exactly say she's changing casts since that would give away the big cliff hanger for S6.

And I really hope 'V' turns out well (I loved that mini-series as a kid), but after the way ABC butchered Invasion my hopes aren't high.

I'm still torn on if they actually can undo this stuff by exploding the bomb. If the bomb didn't go off, Lockes dead. You'll only see the evil manifestation of the black shirt guy as Locke.

If the Bomb did go off, Locke may be screwed. He's left with an empty life and probably still paralyzed.

Locke's probably screwed either way. And that may be one of the messages they are trying to get accross, no matter how hard you try or do what the powers that be may tell you, there will be some people who just end up on the short end of the stick.

The one thing about Locke, lets say they make it so the bomb doesn't go off in 2004 and flight 815 didn't crash. He's still the only one that I can tell that was guided to get on that plane by Widmore and the black guy. And thats where it gets tricky because if the plane didn't crash, Locke wouldn't have gone back in time and Widmore would not have known about Locke to push him back to the island. It gets complicated, obviously, but I don't see how the bomb not going off wouldn't have some HUGE butterfly effect that would be nearly impossible to account for.

What about the whole "bomb = incident" that was mentioned in the episode by Juliet or someone?

Catastrophic, sure, but we know that Radzinsky was the first guy in the hatch and blew his brains out (remember the spot on the ceiling "that's Radzinsky"). I'm thinking that while Juliet IS dead, that everyone else will just be dazed and confused, that somehow the bomb neutralized the electromagnetism, and was, in fact, the incident.

However...they may...MAY...have flashed to the present. The 815 gang has to reunite with the rest of 316, if nothing more than to have Sun and Jin back together. Then again, maybe that's where Desmond comes in. Didn't Eloise tell him that "the island wasn't finished with him"?

One thing about 815 landing, and why I'm confident it won't happen (though I wouldn't be surprised if the first scene of Season Six made you THINK that it landed and things were A-OK).

Wouldn't they have to bring everyone back? If the plane landed as planned, wouldn't you want to see Libby, Ana Lucia, Eko, Michael and "ten year old" Walt, Shannon, Boone, etc.? It's just not going to happen...too many questions. Not to mention the tossing out with the bath water the first three seasons (before they got off the island, save Michael of course).

You guys really have everything covered, but I wanted to throw in that because of the correlations of the backgammon game/black & white I see a more deliberate reason to casting Rose & Bernard as a B&W couple.

I guess it is just another little wink from Cuse & Lindlelof.

One other thing, remember the dream Claire had, where Locke took Aaron and both eyes were black?

Also, didn't the skeletons (Adam and Eve) in the caves have black and white pebbles for eyes?

The writers are brillant. Locke is Alive I believe the time hoping and created multiple Lockes on the island. The difference with Locke is that Jacob did something to him when he fell out of the window. Allowing for the man in black to have an his loophole.

The whole series we have been lead to believe that Locke was on this righteous mission and Jack was this ignorant man of science.

I believe the bait and switch is in the process of happening. Or both men will be proved wrong.
