Thor: One of the best Marval movies I remember seeing. I was reluctant to see this because I'm not much of a fan of Marval but was impressed with this. I enjoyed the story and it had very good special effects.

A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas: The 3D effects were purposely gimmicky but well done and it looked better them most 3D films I've seen. Overall typical Harold & Kumar, not as funny as the 1st one but still hilarious.

Marathon Boy - Wow, what a documentary. It's about a 3 year old boy from the slums of India who has the ability to run full marathon distances (26 miles non stop) and is being trained to run far past that. Very compelling and makes you cringe and wonder who has this young man's best interest at heart. There are parts in the movie that almost makes you feel like someone has to stop the madness!

Last Man Standing - Released in 1996 starring Bruce Willis and Christopher Walken. Outstanding performance by Bruce Willis, I loved the voice-over. Good action, western, and gangster movie.

The Change-Up: Parts of this movie are damn awful. Especially what the baby does to Bateman in the beginning of it. Just cringe-worthy terrible.

But other parts of the movie don't suck. Some of it is quite funny. Specifically when those same babies get a hold of knives.

So, it's a rollercoaster ride, which all told results in a thoroughly okay movie. And at the very least, Olivia Wilde is damn hot. So it has that.

Gangs of New York - Awesome movie. I had watched it a few times a few years back, but just watched it again, brilliant as ever.

One of my most forgotten about favorite movies. Never remember to include it when people ask, but it's an amazing, amazing movie.

                Frozen

Despite knowing at least part of the ending thanks to Hachet 2 I watched it anyway. Quite a few moments where it appears things could've been prevented but it was overall enjoyable.

Saw Chinatown last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. Always wanted to see it. It was a bit longer than I thought it was going to be.

                    J. Edgar - I found the material to be very interesting and pretty fascinating considering what J. Edgar spearheaded and influenced in his life-time. Leo of course does a great job. By the end of the film, it feels very dense. There is a lot going on throughout the film and the political undertones are obvious, but their relevancy to today is what stuck with me. I would recommend it and I can totally see it becoming Oscar bait.

Paycheck. A guilty pleasure of mine. Love the action sequences and near-misses in this.

Arthur (2011). More proof that perfection can not be improved upon. I found Russell Brand annoying, the love interest uninteresting and the rip-offs of the original scenes largely overdone. But, hey... for you Nick Nolte fans, you're in luck...... he takes a stretch an plays a psychopath.

                          Could not finish.

Same. I couldn't get through it either.

I find Russell Brand pretty funny in small doses but a whole film of him as the lead is way too much imo....

                              Megamind.

Thought it was surprisingly solid. There were moments where it lost steam but I'm glad I watched it.

Courageous-great movie. I loved it, it is kind of sad and very religous but every father/dad out there should be forced to watch it.
