C. Affleck is so underrated and underplayed as an actor. Needs to do more. And I had the same exact feel about Invention..... Gervais has become a fav of mine lately, but this wasn't that good.

Agreed I thought Casey Affleck was great in Gone Baby Gone.

2008 version. The original Rambo (which I saw a long time ago) is called First Blood.

Aye - Rambo wasn't in the title until the 2nd movie. They kind of have a strangely named serious going there:

Chocolate - First things first, the fight scenes were great. Very creative with the locations and some witty humor sprinkled throughout made them very enjoyable to watch. The movie, overall, got better as it progressed. The prologue seemed kind of corny and was seemed to be going for an overly serious drama vibe. Once the story started moving the movie itself got better and I would have to say, overall, it was a better film than Ong-Bak.

Over the weekend I watched a show with Malcolm McDowell called Pact with the Devil - kind of a waste of time really, like a made-for-tv movie. Avoid it.

Vampire's Assistant- 8.6

Awesome movie, liked it a good amount. Some interesting characters even if the teenage characters were a bit flat in terms of acting, but the overall cast was right on and the story was interesting; would love to see a sequel.

Justice League: Crisis on two Earths- 7.2

Definitely much much better than Planet Hulk by a long shot, but overall it fell flat compared to tops like Wonder Women and The Frontier. However the story in itself was interesting, wish it was a bit more focused on the two Batman men since they were clearly the smartest characters in the movie.

And were they playing homage to Watchmen??? Batman's counter, Owlman had a device he wanted to use to destroy main earth which would complete destroy life and existence.

Really reminded me a bit of the ending act of the movie Watchmen.

Boondock Saints II: All Saint's Day

Maybe have been one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It was pretty much a ****tier version of the first one, without the badass-feeling. Julie Benz may have given one of the single worst performances I have ever seen in a movie.

It's up there, for me, with a movie like Judge Dredd. I'll watch it because it sucks so much that it is actually funny.

The first one is one of my favorite movies.

The second one is the exact same format-style, has the same exact set-up, the same exact scenes...just with a sixteenth of the acting ability, a much cheesier script, stupid jokes and, well, Julie Benz destroys every scene with the cops.

Made a blind buy of 500 Days of Summer on blu ray. Easily 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Best "relationship" movie I've seen in a long time.

Haven't watched Jennifers Body yet.
