Blu-Ray? The only reason I want to see it is so I can feel it shake my house.

Watched this last night, feel about the same. It was too long for it not to be anything original.

After the 2nd close "take-off scene I was like what the hell? Flying through building and such was a bit too far fetched, IMO. We actually found it funny after a while.

BTW, of topic but, my GF loves your wife's website. I found it from the "What did you have for dinner last night" thread and pointed it out to her. She loves it and has showed a lot of her friends so, tell your wife to keep up the good work.

yeah, that's when it really started to lose me too. And if that wasn't enough, there was even another similar take-off scene just like it later with a bigger plane, and then another similar one with the ship at the end LOL. And this is all after the crazy escape scene in the limo. They tried a little too hard in this movie.

I will pass the compliment on the website on to my wife, she'll appreciate it. Thanks!

Saw "The One"...sci-fi Jet Li flick from back in the day. The blu ray is a slight upgrade from the DVD version--decent popcorn movie for $6.

Not that this is a new movie for me, but I just popped in Dodgeball to watch the commentary, and... WOW. Anyone that owns the Blu-ray (it may also be on the DVD), just listen to this. I'm only 30 minutes into it, and Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn show their true colors here. Ben comes late and does nothing but belittle the director/where to the point that he leaves, and Vince Vaughn being an egotistical prick who constantly interrupts the director and smacks on chips, drinking etc.

Then the guys working backstage (named Matt and Jeff) pop in a lot to try and keep them on point, and they keep cursing back at them telling them to turn the movie down, calling Matt the wrong name (like Mark, Max, Mike, etc.), and say that they're overpaid at $14/hr.

I'm really glad this commentary track stayed in. It really shows what Hollywood does to people.

That's what I hate about the Internet. There's no way to tell if he was or not; but I'm guessing he was - which is pretty funny.

Anyway - I just saw Taken because it was on Cinemax. Pretty good movie, decent story, fast moving, and some good action. I like that they moved quick and didn't try to focus on too much story in an attempt to make it a "smart" action movie. They pretty much just had him kick *** up to the end.

My wife also said she didn't know Liam Neeson was such a bad *** and thought he was awesome.

I also couldn't stop thinking of Fallout 3 whenever he spoke.

Haha well I didn't think that 15 minutes later when his assistant told him his car was getting towed, then Vince leaves and the crew guys aren't sure what to do so they insert the commentary for There's Something About Mary.

I gotta admit, they had me for a while.

EDIT: There's no reason for me to believe whether or not it was real. I know that I couldn't put on an act like that for that long, and I would safely assume that all commentaries are real. Again, I was only 25 minutes in at that point.

I'm pretty sure if that was real, it wouldn't have been put on the disc.

Anyway, if you want some good commentary, watch Batman ('66). Adam West and Burt Ward are hilarious on there.

I think I'm addicted to Redbox. Just watched Amored. It was mildly entertaining. Very similar to Assault on Precint 13.
