You must only be 25 minutes in.

This movie really is a "suspension of disbelief" kind of movie, but it makes you wonder if Emmerich tried to be serious with this approach or not. All of the characters were very unlikable.

Meh that movie was just a little too far fetched for my taste.

My wife and I went to see Robin Hood tonight...LOVED IT!!!! We wanted to turn around and watch it again. I know the reviews have been mixed, but it's awesome!! Crowe and Blanchett are solid, and Max von Sydow is incredibly good!

The scenes are breath-taking and thought it's a long movie, it's paced well. The opening 45 minutes or so provides context that sets the tone.

I HIGHLY recommend it to any fan of this genre... Russell Crowe is simply in his element in this movie - if you liked Gladiator you'll enjoy this as well...

I just watched Transformers in our home theater for the first time. The first one, not the crappy new one. I have a headache and I'm surprised the sub survived. God that movie's loud.

How awesome was it when Ironhide transformed up and over that screaming girl on the street as the rocket whizzed by in slow motion? That's probably the coolest time to ever heard your sub bottom out. It's so wicked!

I saw Just Wright at the movies last night and thought it was okay. I also saw The Bucket List this morning and thought that it was AWESOME! I know I'm late on that one though. Real late.

Finally watched Mulholland Drive last night after being told for years I should see it. Definitely a thinking man's movie when all is said and done. Also one of those rare movies where you feel like it is a "must see" but when it's over you're not sure if you actually liked it.

Triangle-A great movie on Netflix instant. It's about a group of friends who go sailing off the coast of Florida into the Bermuda Triangle and encounter a strange ship. This movie really surprised me. I was expecting a low budget, typical slasher flick with laughable bad acting but it had none of that. This movie is more of a thriller then it is horror and blood and guts. It has a lot of twists and turns and is definitely a good movie to watch.

Watched Ong Bak 2 on blu ray. Defintely your cup of tea if you like true martial arts movies. 8.5/10

Did like the first one a little bit better.

Alice in Wonderland - not bad. Good acting (Alice was much better than the critics gave her credit for), decent retelling of the story.

Sort of seemed to be in between a kids movie (kids wouldn't enjoy it in my opinion) and not quite an adult movie.

Pretty disappointed with the CG, especially the dodgy frame rates on the animation. I'd never hire that group again. Not impressive at all.

Overall, worth watching for the childhood memories and performances from the big names.

The Crazies- I thought it was better then most apparently as everyone I know who saw it said it was terrible. It wasnt fantastic but it was hardly terrible either. If I had to grade it I suppose it would get a solid B- or so.

Men Who Stare at Goats- Miserable movie and I had high hopes just based on the amount of solid actors in it, ie. Kevin Spacey, George Clooney and Jeff Bridges, but clearly they werent even enough to carry this movie. I found the comedic parts of the movie average at best and the rest was terrible. Again, if I had to grade this one it would be somewhere around a "D" but nothing more.

Saw Gentlemen Broncos the other night... I fell asleep toward the end, but what I saw was pretty funny. This vid sums it up nicely... missing the "oh my word" and facial expression after the snake, but yea... you still get it.
