Watched Enemy at the Gates last night. Was much better than I thought it would be. Interesting to see World War 2 from the Soviet side. Based around true events involving 2 snipers. One from the Soviet side and the other from the German side. Thought it was entertaining all the way through. My Teams

Except for the weird silent sex scene. That was... odd.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Saw a pre-screening of Step Up 3D tonight. Really enjoyed it!
Yes I like the music and was doing similar moves (or trying) back in my school days but it was a lot of entertainment!
The story was different from the first two and didn't go over the top with the female character and give her too much screen time.
The moves and routines weren't as polished as some of the first two movies but were still great and the 3D was brilliant.
They did the obvious 3D stunts with water splashing out towards you etc but some other stuff like the robot dancer's head or the chicks hands coming at the screen were amazing.
Even the regular scenes in 3D added so much more depth then normal 2D. I'm a big fan of 3D and was very impressed with Step Up.Comment

I honest to God laughed myself to tears when I saw there was such a thing as Step Up 3D. No offense to the people that like the dance genre of movies, but it just seemed like such a random movie to put in 3D.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Burton's Alice In Wonderland on Blu-Ray. Excellent effects and story-telling. The only thing I thought that was out of place was:
SpoilerThe Mad Hatter doing the funky dance at the end. Just seemed out of place.Comment

Knight and Day. Not the greatest rom. comedy/action movie, but I enjoyed it. Ran long (110 min) for my taste...with a tighter script and better editing, you could easily shaved 20 min off and told the same story.
Snatch (blu ray). First time seeing this. Way over the top violence, but good story telling. Really liked it.Comment

I saw Salt this weekend. I liked it for the most part. Im not real critical of movies so I didnt see anything really wrong with it. I felt like I was watching a female Bourne movie in a lot of ways. There were a few surprises in there and overall I enjoyed it.Comment

Well, it is Guy Ritchie. Great flick.... so many great moments, comedic as well. Might be the best Brad Pitt movie for me. Tried to emulate the Gypos (Pikers) dialect for days after that.

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Lol snatch is great.
I watched "From Paris with Love" last night. Kinda strange seeing an aged, slightly overweight, shaved head Travolta sliding down poles on his legs while blowing people away with a machine gun but i enjoyed it none the less. This movie could have better if they swapped Travolta for someone more believable in an action role (Vin diesel maybe) and swapped Jonathan Rhys Meyers with someone better (like Joseph Gordon-Levitt) but it was still decent enough and an enjoyable movie overall imo.Comment
