Shoot Em' Up-Good, deliberate over the top action movie. From killing people with carrots to a baby wearing a bulletproof vest. 90 minutes of action and entertainment.

The Last King of Scotland-Great perfomance by Forest Whitaker playing former Ugandan dictator Idi Adim. James McAvory, who always seems to annoy me for some reason, played Dr.Garrigan. Good movie, I would recommend.
I think Shoot Em Up had some of the worst one-liners ever.

Battle L.A.: Was good, but could have been done better. I'd like to see a war movie against real human forces filmed in a similar manner of this film.

L.A. Noire: Most immersive movie ever.

Yeah I thought the one-liners were hilariously bad.

          The Kings Speech
I wasn't at all in the mood for a drama, but saw the blu-ray in the library and knew it won best picture so I grabbed it. I enjoyed it more than I expected

Inception - I thought it would be another matrix copy but it does its own thing and reminds me more of Total Recall in a way. Either way very good.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World - Was surprised how good it was. I guess I need to stop being a movie snob when these come out in the theaters and just go. Maybe it is the way they are marketed or something but, I always feel like they are gonna be bad for some reason. Pilgrim had a lot of good characters that mimic many people I have run into and it makes it all the more fun.

Dances with Wolves - Seen it again and man I think it is one of the best movies made of all time. I love westerns and I like the whole feel of it and the music is top notch.

Major League - I picked up the Blu-Ray for cheap a few months back and finally watched it (I usually watch the movie every year) and man, it still holds up 20-plus years later. I need to go back and watch the alternate ending that is on the Blu-Ray.

Ironman- Another Blu-Ray selection. This ranks just beneath the Christian Bale Batman movies for me, in terms of Superhero movies. Robert Downey Jr. is awesome in this movie and I think Paltrow plays Pepper Potts well; their scenes together were really good. I liked the sequel but this movie is a few levels above that.

Watched I am number four and went in with pretty low expectations (i'd heard it's pretty bad from a few different people) but I really enjoyed it.

Just nice simple escapism with awesome special effects. Not something that I'd run out and buy and watch repeatedly but it did keep me entertained and I enjoyed the movie overall. 7/10 from me.

The Next Three Days-Enjoyed it. Russel Crowe played the lead role well. Slow at times, but the ending was exciting and made up for it.

The Switch-Much better then I expected. I loved all the characters, especially the little kid, and Jason Batemen in this movie reminded me a lot of myself. Jennifer Aniston keeps getting hotter somehow.

                    Midnight in Paris.

Gotta like Woody Allen to 1. get the film and 2. want to sit long enough to get it.

I loved it. I've been a much bigger fan of Woody Allen's latest work. Never was a huge fan of his Annie Hall days. But, his style has grown to a point where it meets my simple idea of comedy mixed in with a good dosage of drama.

I've read reviews that you need to be well-versed in the writers and artists of the 1920s. That may be true, but if you don't know who Picasso, Hemingway, T.S. Eliot and F. Scott Fitzgerald are then...well, I don't know what to say about you. I guess you won't get the film.

edit: I think the "You won't get the film" came out wrong. I'm only iterating what reviews have said. The film is centered on those great writers and artists of the era so if you don't know a thing about them, you are surely to have a number of things go over your head.

Despite that, it has an interesting story if you are the type that likes slow films.

Scream 4- I didn't go in expecting too much so I wasn't disappointed. Overall it was forgettable. Not as good as the first Scream but I felt like it was an improvement over Scream 3, which isn't saying much.

Woody has always been the quirky, esoteric, neurotic film artist and that was his appeal. You couldn't wait for his next piece of work to be released. He continually made nostalgic references throughout even his early stuff .... you either got him or you didn't. Even his brief stand-up work was tremendous. But once he crossed the line of bedding down his juvenile adopted daughter, I considered him to be nauseating and unwatchable. To me watching anything that a felon does and appreciating it... well, THAT'S what I don't get.
