Argo - I think everyone should see this film once as its a good little history lesson, but the people that need to see it the most are probably the least interested in seeing it. I feel like the whole movie has a very understated tone as there's no big "wow" factor throughout, but everything is crafted well and executed greatly. It hits a lot of great beats and manages to be thrilling, while not over the top.

Sounds like my type of movie and the fact that it deals with real events that a lot of people should at least know about makes it doubly intriguing. I'll be seeing this as soon as I can.

I think a lot of people will be shocked/surprised by the first ten minutes. The history of that region post WWII I feel like has been swept under the rug quite a bit.

Just saw Contraband. Can't go too wrong with a Wahlberg movie.

Yes you can.....He made his fair share of lame movies now. For every good one he does, he do 5 lame ones.

I don't know how sarcastic/serious you are with that statement, but for the 12 Wahlberg movies I have seen, I would give them:

                Fear - Rotten
                The Italian Job - Fresh
                Four Brothers - Rotten
                Invincible - Fresh
                The Departed - Fresh
                Shooter - Fresh
                The Happening - Rotten
Date Night - Rotten (though he was a side character)
                The Other Guys - Rotten
                The Fighter - Fresh
                Contraband - Fresh
                Ted - Fresh

                7 Fresh and 5 Rotten ain't bad.

Granted, I skipped out on films like We Own the Night, Max Payne, and The Lovely Bones... but I can dig most of his films. Heck, I even own Four Brothers and The Other Guys, so it just goes to show his films can still hold some value even when they're not as good (and rotten doesn't always mean "bad," but there needs to be some form of balance).

I've seen 11 movies he's been in and liked 10. Of course I skipped stuff like the Happening which just looked terrible.

Compared to the first two it's complete crap.
On it's own it's an average zombie flick that was almost complete crap but just barely managed to save itself from the rubbish pile and climb to the lower end of mediocrity.

The camera views only last 20 minutes. Soon as things get going it changes to the common cinematic style. It lost all intensity, originality and uniquness from the others. This is going on at the same time as the first so it doesn't add much to the overall story. The vet that worked on the dog is attending a wedding before the outbreak in the builiding happens. There's a scene with a news report on TV outside the building in the backround but otherwise doesn't much connect.

I agree this movie was complete crap...

Didn't hate it, but definitely didn't love it.

                            The Five-Year Engagement

Hilarious, heartfelt, the most likeable cast I've seen in years, original even when dealing with cliches, it's a GREAT movie. Go watch it.

I've been waiting on some impressions of this. I liked the trailer and the cast, but completely forgot about it.

Five-Year Engagement was an awesome movie. Some hysterical parts, some "nice" scenes, and as said a very likable cast.

It's in the category of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but just a step below that because Mila.
