It's a small part, but nowhere near the focus of the movie.

saw Wreck It Ralph with the gf last night, Thought it was excellent. Underrated as far as Disney CGI movies go. If you like video games you'll definitely like that movie.

Saw Drinking Buddies last night. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but I really liked how it displayed the fine line between platonic male/female friendships and a romantic one. It's a slow movie, but I enjoyed it

Really want to see this. Spike Jonze is one of the smartest film makers out there. Adaptation was absolutely brilliant and contains the 2 best Nicholas Cage performances ever.

'The Conjuring'. Has pretty fun bass for those with a sub. Thought the movie was ok. Some good shock moments, but typical unoriginal story.

                The Quiet Earth.

1980's New Zealand sci fi cult classic where a scientist wakes up to find he is the only person left after an apocalyptic event.

Great flick! I don't want to say much about it for spoilers but if you like this type of film it's remarkably well done and features quite a finishing image.

I've heard about this movie a lot but have yet to see it. How would you compare it (without spoiling anything) to Vincent Price in The Last Man on Earth or "shudder" the modern adaptation of that book/film starring Will Smith?

Decided to give "Only God Forgives" a go on Netflix, looked interesting enough. I get the movie visually, but the dialogue and story went nowhere. It felt stilted, even with solid actors like Gosling. Lots of eye candy though, especially with different backgrounds and framing of certain scenes.

I never saw the Price film but I preferred TQE to I Am Legend...definitely. The main character is much more relatable and the movie feels more plausible.

The Apparition. Pretty much rock bottom.

I guess I learned 1 thing from the movie, never run into a Costco and hide in a tent in the camping section to get away from the clutches of the underworld. They will still find you.

Looper. The sci-fi time travel movie with Bruce Willis. I actually liked it quite a bit. It wasn't the best movie, but I'll pretty much watch anything with time travel.
