I was missing Robin Williams so I watched Patch Adams. Love the movie, and forgot that the person is a real person. Robin is probably the only actor ever to make me cry consistently in his movies.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Saw Ralph Breaks the Internet. The final act was my least favorite part of the film, but outside of that I thought it was entertaining, hilarious (predictable jokes didn't give me much glee, but the shock value of others was rather raucous), and has one of the better "best buds" duo in Ralph and Vanellope of all Disney films, and that doesn't let up here. It was weird that the film was kind of lacking a villain, but they found ways to work around that. The commentary about social media in this one was so on point that it upset me just as much as it did in The Emoji Movie. I miss the simpler times.

I also just rewatched Coco as well to get a good cry in. Family moments always get to me, in any film. It's also crazy how much better the cinematography and attention to detail was in this film compared to The Incredibles 2.

Just finished watching The Predator (yeah, the newest one).

I'll just keep it short; silly but entertaining.

I thought it should have won best picture.

Saw Greenbook, I liked it but didn’t think best picture but Mortenson and Ali acted great and deserved there nominations.

Saw the newest fantastic beasts movie.

Sure, fantastic beasts doesn't really need to be in the name anymore since that's not the focus , but movie was nice. You get to really see backstory on some big Harry potter characters. The era before Tom riddle was born. The big reveal at the end, assuming it's not a lie, is huge. I hope it's true. That'd add whole new layer to the final battle and rivalry of former (more than) friends.

And I really think the Dumbledore relationship rumors are true. If so, that is another thing which makes the feud so good.

I cant express how horrible this movie was!
Matthew Mc wasn't bad in it, but everything else about the movie was!
                Horrible storyline and acting.

Selena Biopic = Incredible. This is my favorite film from J. Lo. To those who’ve seen it what did u guys think of this movie? This is definitely one of the best biopics I’ve seen.

It’s a classic for me. Edward James Olmos is great as usual and one of his most memorable roles and yes definitely J. Lo’s greatest role, pretty much the only movie I like of hers. She was so fine in that movie too.

Didn’t know much about Selena until she died but she made one of the greatest love songs during my childhood with Dreaming of You. That was a must track on all the mixtapes I gave to girls in jr high and high school.

Gone too soon, only 23 when she was murdered.

Radio (on IMDB Freedive). Maybe about 4th or 5th time over the years. Sure. Try not to get a tear in your eye.

Gooding was amazing. How was he not nominated?

Leaving Neverland. Sobering and sad. Pretty compelling evidence in how it was presented. Plenty of blame to go around.

Actually it reminded me of how ridiculous people got about Jackson, some turning him into their god. It's crazy how some reacted to his death as well and they had no connection to him or his life, only his persona/image.

Addendum: went to re-watch the Triumph the Comic Insult Dog clip at the MJ trial and it looks like YouTube took it off. Things that make you go "hmmmm".

Greta. It was interesting. Didn't find it that believable though.

Creed II was very well done. I was so pleased with how they told the Drago story.

I've been a fan of both Fantastic Beasts movies so far. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I don't have books to compare them to, but I've enjoyed these two movies much more than I did the original HP movies.

I saw Lego Movie Part 2. It was....ok. Entertaining enough I suppose. I enjoyed the first one a lot, but this one was a bit of a disappointment.

1st was ok, but I found the 2nd to have a much more compelling story since that dealt way more with the storylines and lives of characters we know of already.

I'm happy we don't have books to compare with. The major event in half blood prince, along with finding out who dies in other books are what hurt that surprise factor for me. I never read them(which is good in hindsight because rest of movie events were surprise) but some I had friends spoil because "the movies not coming out for awhile. Like I'll remember what you spoil a few years from now.".

Half blood prince spoilers were one of the earlier internet trending topics like memes I could think if. You visited any site and someone had to post the whole "___ killed ___" line. Some were images similar to the meme style we have today.
