NO! Greatest Conan character of all-time, hands down. Also, I really liked Tokey the Anti-Drug Bong.

Conan is the best late night show host hands down. I don't even see how there can be a comparison.

He knows this like we do and is probably like WTF is going on?

Yeah, that sucks, but its pretty normal. So are spin-offs of characters and concepts (Letterman's Top 10 renamed after his move to CBS). When Conan makes his return, we could see characters/segments like the Masterbating Hare, In the Year 4000, etc.

I'm not sure how a driving desk is NBC's intellectual property though.

very very bad press with nbc. until Conan gets a hosting gig again, letterman's ratings will go up even higher. leno's days are numbered.

NBC might just be playing hardball with him though. NBC doesn't want to pay him and I'm sure Conan wants to keep most of his stuff. Are his jokes worth the $40M or whatever it is?

On the plus side, wherever Conan winds up will have all-new characters. I will miss some; but it is what it is.

You can just see that this entire thing gave Conan his swagger back, so I'm looking forward to this upcoming week of shows. Bittersweet in that Conan will be off the air after then, but at least when he shows up again you know it'll be behind a network that supports him.

Well, there you have it. Looks like he's starting fresh.

Thats one thing that I really don't get about this. Clearly Leno is NBC's guy, but Leno is 60 years old and a lot of people feel that his best days are behind him without even considering this situation.

So why does NBC side with the guy that is old, and appeals to an older demographic? Don't they need to think about the future a bit? Conan is most popular in the 18-34 demographic and is 46 years old, so doesn't it make BUSINESS SENSE for NBC to keep the guy that is younger and appeals to the younger audience?
