Same here, I used to like leno until he just got boring and repetitive to me. Conan seems like he actually enjoys his job and is willing to say/do anything (within reason obviously) for a laugh. This whole situation is really worst case scenario for CoCo, looking back I wish he would have just stayed at late night and kept making comedy gold. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess, I just don't want him or his fans to get screwed here.

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
Conan would be stupid to walk away from that money just because he gets pushed back 30 minutes. I dont see this as a big deal in all honesty, hes still on earlier then he was with his old show, its still the Tonight Show and hes still getting paid an unbelievable salary to do what he loves so why would 30 minutes equal him leaving for the unknown of another channel like Fox?Comment

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
I would like to know how Jeff Zucker still has a job. NBC went from 1st to 4th and I don't see things changing for NBC anytime soon.
I haven't watched every episode of Conan, but I've yet to see Triump The Insult Comic Dog or the masturbating bear make an appearance. The Tonight Show doesn't feel the same.Comment

Conan retired the Masturbating Bear before he left his old time slot.I would like to know how Jeff Zucker still has a job. NBC went from 1st to 4th and I don't see things changing for NBC anytime soon.

But yeah, there's no doubt that Conan was more edgy, more offbeat, and generally much better in the later time slot.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
Triumph was around last week, he did a bit at a dog spa...
I was expecting to see the return of the "A**" stamp for Max, but they did a bit on it a couple days ago and the stamp was changed to "Nerd"... Just not the same.Comment

Leno is such a *****. Conan is freaking hilarious. I hope that Conan tells him to retire.Comment

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
I hope he moves on. With that said, he was too cookie cutter on the Tonight Show. He's so much funnier when he can just be himself and have outlandish and edgy things.Comment

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
During the last week of his old show, they retired some of the more vulgar characters like the masturbating bear.
Triumph has been on though.Comment

Re: Conan's Reign Begins - The Tonight Show
Well there was an article I read that stated the network had a clause in there that allowed them to push the start time of Conan's show back 30 minutes but no more then that so it really doesnt matter if Conan agrees or not. Now I suppose he could breach his contract and leave or seek a buy out (which would probably never happen) but then he would be turning down a good amount of money for the unknown of Fox, just doesnt make sense to me personally.Comment
