Yeah, this is right. I'm not sure what the significance is at this point but the Lostpedia is correct. I assume the MiB does not realize that her name was not crossed off in the lighthouse.

Jacob and MIB both probably have a list of candidates. I suppose death isn't the only way you can be removed from either.

Gotta mean that. Once we get this Desmond-centric episode, I'm pretty sure a lot of things we thought are going to be debunked.

I'm still banking on Widmore knowing about the flash sideways and needing Desmond in some way to make things right. Desmond being able to see the future and be the only character to move through time without the aid of the Island, is significant. I bet he can do more.

I think MiB was lying to Claire about Kate not being a candidate to keep her under control. He was hesitant during the entire conversation.

Yeah I agree. He needs her for something...just not for sure what that is just yet. But you can bet after he gets what he needs from her, he'll allow Claire to proceed in whatever manner she likes in trying to kill Kate.
