            there were rumors last week about the incredible ota being put on hold because 2.2 was gonna be released end of july/first week of august. so i'm gonna remain sceptically hopeful.

                The videos in the above link show TouchWiz 3.0 in the flesh and in action on the Vibrant, a similar phone to the E p i c. I still think TW is pretty nice.

                        Google Maps update! They finally integrated Points of Interest into the GPS app. It's pretty much over now! Best mobile maps application by far!

                                            I find the default car home GPS to be very good. Just make sure you have it plugged into your car charger though.

                                                I have the Nexus One along with the car dock. I had a standalone, but Google Navigation is way better imo.

                                                    Finally got my Incredible on Monday!

                                                    I love it. The keyboard feels nice and I seem to type better with it than my previous touch screen (LG Dare). Everything works/feels as advertised.

                                                    I've already gone app crazy. I haven't tried Swype yet, but I hear it's a love/hate thing, so we'll see. I'm currently working on sliding my Itunes playlist over to my phone through doubletwist. Seems pretty good. I hadn't spent much time looking into Android phones before I looked into getting the HTC, but it really doesn't seem there is much it is lacking compared to the Iphones...other than sheer number of apps.

                                                    Anyone have any personal favs/suggestions beyond what's already been posted? Particularly any paid ones that are "must haves" (I've gotten a lot of the free ones I think I want).

                                                    Side note: I'm in love with "Talk to Me" language app. I live in Houston (diverse population) and my Spanish is very weak. It has already paid off communicating with a couple of neighbors I have whose English is on par with my Spanish...lol. It picks up speech fairly well (though seems to struggle with higher pitches like my wife and son leading to funny mistranslations).

                                                            installed the leaked 2.2 . I like it. A few new HTC widgets (flashlight, news). Best part is it is seriously a lot faster now.
