I listen to pandora for like 8 hours at work a day plus all the browsing and gaming I do at lunch or whatever. I still have to charge when I get home, but I haven't had my phone die on me since I replaced the stock battery. Plus the ebay auction I won for the 1800 mah battery included a second battery, which I just leave in my car if I ever do need it. It works for my usage though, but everyone's different.

The evo I got coming has the normal battery and two 1800mah ones too, I think I should be good then I guess.
You sound like me, I listen to Pandora too and play some games not much, but I do surf thought, I'm hoping the Pandora and surfing doesn't kill thew battery that quick.N.Y Mets

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Ehh, everyone says that based on what they read on the internet. Samsung sucks because they are on 2.1 I have never used an official update on any Android phone. I'm running Gingerbread right now on the ****. just swapped my EVO SHift for an **** and I like the **** much better. The Super Amoled screen is amazing. I am running 2.3 already. No need for Samsung updates when you are rooted. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

I would suggest turning 3g/data off anytime you're gonna be in an area with iffy signal for extended periods of time. JuiceDefender in the market will disable your data your data anytime the screen is off automatically. it'll also activate the data for 30 seconds every 15 minutes or so, so you don't miss out on emails and whatnot. check it out.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I could go a full day on 2 batteries... full day being maybe 10 hrs of heavy use. Heavy use being constantly checking for fb updates, texting, and listening to music. I got my spares and the battery charger on eBay for dirt cheap. They're generic but they haven't caused me any problems yet. 2 1800 mAh + charger for $15.
I also have battery optimization tweaks in effect. Running JuiceDefender, turning off services I don't need (4G, WiFi, GPS), lowering screen brightness, flashing ROMs/kernels that help optimize battery life... things like that.
