So my dad swiftly negotiated an AirRave from Sprint for free, without a monthly fee. I have read that rooted phones (like mine) wont work with the AirRave. Do I unroot when I'm home (where I have no service) and root when I'm in college where I have a clear signal?

On Jan. 5, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse announced that customers in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are expected to be among the first to benefit from 4G LTE and improved 3G coverage in the first half of 2012. Additional areas that will receive 3G enhancements and 4G LTE expansion in 2012 will be announced later in the year.

Approximately 15 4G LTE devices are currently on track to be launched in 2012 including handsets, tablets and data cards. Additionally, 4G devices, including HTC EVO™ Design 4G, Samsung Epic™ 4G Touch and Nexus S™ 4G, will continue to be sold in 2012.

So I got a great deal offered to me on Craigs List

This guy wanted the Rezound and he had a brand new Nexus but was not feeling it since it was a gift and did not even activated the phone. He sent me a message saying that if I gave him $50 plus my mint condition Rezound that he would give me his phone which was a day old with all the cables and box and stickers.

I told him that I was not looking to waste $50 but I would do the trade if the phone was in mint condition.

He said that Nexus is rated a better phone and more costly. I agreed with him but told him I would think about it for the rest of the work day.

So later last night he sent me a message asking if I was going to do it or not and to meet at the verizon store

I was driving and was not able to respond but when I got him he sent another one saying that he would do an even trade no money. LOL...So I said ok cool and went to the store and met him and he was a real nice guy.

The phone was new with all the cables still in the wrapper and phone still had the screen protector and it smelled brand new as well. LOL

We exchanged it and he also had the $50 extended battery brand new and told me that for $20 I can have it and I jumped on that and just paid $20 and have the new Nexus and the extended battery for just $20

Love this phone.

Thank You...One thing that is bugging me about the phone and I am not sure if this is true or just a coincidence that when on a call, you cannot search the browser or things of that nature.

Is this true, the other phone I had you could do that. Might not be important to some but many times I find myself trying to search for addresses or phone numbers on google search while on a call with someone.

Not a huge deal but shocked that it was not the same as the Rezound.

I had the Galaxy S2 and just sold it a few weeks, yes I know, I'm going to hear it, it was used and got $400 on Craigslist.

Funny thing is I sold it because I wanted the Sprint Nexsus S4G, some may say why? Open source reason, I love this phone, I have and ICS rom running it and pushing it at 1.4 GHZ and the phone is so fast and hacking this phone is a joy.
