So many details...and damn, I just finished that part and was so upset, and yet, in a way, understanding as Robb really screwed the pooch by marrying Jeyne. So I finished A Dance With Dragons last night. After finishing it I did some reading on ASOIAF in general to clear up some misconceptions I had and boy, I overlooked ALOT of stuff.
Biggest one that I wasn't even thinking of was

The R(Rhaegar)+L(Lyanna)=J(Jon) theory(one of many that has my head reeling at the moment). I knew Jon was important to the story but I didn't even think of him NOT being Ned's child.

My oh my, your in for a treat my friend. Book 3 makes the whole series IMHO. Im going to check out the new Stephen King book before I go for DWD, but Ill probably get to that around the time the 2nd season is airing. To think I never even heard of this series before this time last year, now I feel like an expert on Westeros lol.Comment

I'm having Westeros withdrawals. After holding off on the 2nd book, I have been extremely tempted to go ahead and buy it ahead of the second season. But then I tell myself, April is just a few months away!

Get after it. Book 4 you need to charge through though. My friend, father in law, and wife are all up to Book 5 now (I hooked them on the series) and we all agree that Book 4 is the worst one.Comment
