So I finished A Dance With Dragons last night. After finishing it I did some reading on ASOIAF in general to clear up some misconceptions I had and boy, I overlooked ALOT of stuff.

Biggest one that I wasn't even thinking of was

                Anyone still reading?

I miss my long sessions on the train to and from class/work. Thinking about re-reading all 5.

25% through Feast for crows. I'm not as "addicted" to this book as much as the previous 3 but it's still good!

Slowing getting through book 4. I'm about 3 quarters of the way through it now.

Still reading other books for the moment. Book Three will have to wait, but I will be reading it sometime early next year, I'm sure.

I'm at the exact same point...though my excuse is that life has gotten in the way. At least I don't have to wait several years for the fifth book, as it's on my Kindle ready to go.

That being said, after the awesome emotional coaster of 'A Storm of Swords', I can't imagine anything living up to it.

My oh my, your in for a treat my friend. Book 3 makes the whole series IMHO. Im going to check out the new Stephen King book before I go for DWD, but Ill probably get to that around the time the 2nd season is airing. To think I never even heard of this series before this time last year, now I feel like an expert on Westeros lol.

I'm having Westeros withdrawals. After holding off on the 2nd book, I have been extremely tempted to go ahead and buy it ahead of the second season. But then I tell myself, April is just a few months away!

Get after it. Book 4 you need to charge through though. My friend, father in law, and wife are all up to Book 5 now (I hooked them on the series) and we all agree that Book 4 is the worst one.

At the quarter turn I haven't had any issues with it...
