Apparently that is in an upcoming episode, not last night's.

That ending was great and I didn't recognize her at all. Was she on the same diet that Quinn hit during the off season?

I think she was on the "I got kidnapped, starved and tortured by a killer" diet.

A mediocre episode with a great ending that should revive the season.

Yeah, the ending was great but the episode was "ok". The whole Maria/Batista story line is real boring and hope the writers making Quin valuable to the show because his acting is predictable & hope the season doesn't drag since the season has gotten off to a fast start.

I think they had the best idea for a show like this in Season 4. There's no way they could ever live up to that until it's Dexter being caught and presumably on the run and even then, I doubt it'll match the intensity of Season 4.

Wait and see. I think what they've come up with is a good idea.

They didn't really focus on the victims, but IIRC the hair board was all locks of blond hair and they all seemed younger (20's).

eh, I don't see that scenario ever being a full season... maybe the last couple episodes to the series, but I doubt there would be a full season dedicated to Dexter being on the run

I could see them doing a full season of Dexter on the run with it being more about what happens when Dexter's illusions are shattered.

I'm not knocking this season. This is definitely one of my favorite shows on television. I found Season 3 to be very entertaining despite most people finding it to be the worst.

I just don't see how anything could compare to Season 4. It was the perfect scenario for this character.

I thought this was a pretty good episode and gives me hope that this won't be a hangover season from season 4. It was certainly better than the very weak and illogical 1st 2 episodes.

Although I wish both Angel and Laguerta get hit by a bus soon, I thought the dark comedy was hilarious between Dexter and the animal pick up guy with the tranquilizor gun incident. Reminded me of the 1st season which had more emphasis on black humour.

And I didn't see the ending coming and I think that it opens up a pretty interesting storyline the rest of the way, at least better than the Quinn turning into Columbo story arc that I feared they would be placing primary emphasis on this year althougth that still might happen.
