I put zero stock into what Kevin Smith thinks. In fact, I largely disagree with a lot of what he has to say regarding films, though I think he's a pretty intelligent moviegoer himself. I only said he'll be happy.

edit: I think the last line about him being older and just seeming to look like he been through alot. But still hold the look of a billionaire.

Thinking about it more, I'm okay with this. I really am.

As long as they go ahead with the...rough around the edges Bruce. Affleck is not a pretty boy and cannot pull off pretty not Wayne. He could, however, turn Argo-Ben into rough-around the edges, recluse-kind of Bruce. I think. Maybe. I hope.

He's a good actor, or at least better than he gets credit for. He has just made some terrible movies that seem to hang over him more than the good ones.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this casting.

One of the quotes during the press release is that the Superman/Batman film is a continuation of the Man of Steel Universe. So that makes me feel a bit better if it's not a direct sequel to Man of Steel.

And I really want this to happen right now. REBOOT!!!!
