    Re: Superman Man Of Steel

So if it's true, Bruce Wayne pulls an MJ and comes out of retirement twice? Batman is the original "superhero?" Batman teaches/beats-up Superman in order for Superman to become the aspirational hero he's supposed to be? Batman>Superman because BATMAN?

Is there a gif for "Shut up. You won't get my money."?

50 mil would be for 1 movie. That's crazy. Did anyone know Robert Downey Jr got 50 mil alone for Iron Man 3

No, I know. What I meant was what's the point of him signing on for just this movie when DC is trying to establish a JLA movie? There would be no point in them bringing Bale back just for this movie and then have to recast Batman for a Justice League movie.

This is what I want Bale to do, and send a message to WB to not make this movie:

                I know, it's just unfortunate.

However, his decision could dictate their story base. Will Bale's presence mean the return of Nolan's Bruce Wayne and Batman? Would he reprise the role as a completely different kind of Wayne/Batman? Would it influence Oldman, Caine, and Freeman to consider reprising their roles?

Time will tell, but IMO the more separate the universes are, the happier I will be.

My only point about Bale declining would be that no amount of money would deem this to be a good idea for him or them. Maybe that will alter something about their plans, especially if he reads a script first then declines. It would mean something to me if I tried to recruit a highly acclaimed athlete and they dismissed my program. I might think twice about something that I could have set up better for him and others.

I'd be willing to bet it's a false rumor, it's already been said its separate universes and studios tend to avoid recasting roles if its not continuous.

There's going to be a new Batman movie in the next few years, it's just something people have to accept.

People also need to accept they're not getting a MoS 2. They're getting Cavill's second movie as Supes in a SvB movie.

Bale wont be back here is where the rumor's origins actually come from. A book titled "Beyond Batman: The Unauthorised True Story of Christian Bale and His Dark Knight Dilemma" in which the author says, "Why would Christian Bale walk away from what is certainly going to be either the first or second highest grossing movie in the history of cinema?" and then goes on to speculate, "He could probably make 50 million dollars for being in the movie 20 minutes

Yeah I don't really see him as Lex for some reason, not that he probably couldn't do it I just think there's better fits out there.

I'm sure he could pull it off. I think that Mark Strong guy that's been rumored would be the perfect choice though.

Both of those would be awesome options for a more "serious evil genius" kind of Luthor.

I like Mark Strong and it would also kind of signify moving on from that meh of a GL movie, not that I guess they couldn't just find another voice for Sinestro I suppose if they did somehow ever make a sequel for it.
