    Re: Superman Man Of Steel

Finally saw this for the first time tonight and holy crap there are some parts that are way too rushed. Felt a lot like TDKR in terms of the story being rushed like that. I may be in the minority about the fight scenes though I absolutely loved them. Was not a fan of just the random Lois Lane romance that pretty much happens for no reason. There was stellar acting from Costner and Diane Lane though of course.

I give it a 6.5/10. I was very entertained but the analytical side of me says let the story breathe for a little bit at some parts and it could have been better imo.

Hey, that actually looks like a team-up movie. This guy knows what's up.

I know it's saying Superman vs Batman right now but I would really hope its a team-up movie...if the director still doesn't want to introduce Kryptonite then Batman has NO chance.

Realistically they should have it where they mistrust each other and it looks like they'll face off against each other for half to 2/3rds of the movie than they learn to trust each other and take down an even greater threat.

This is what I assume the film will cover, mostly with the mistrusting.

Ideally I still want them to cover the damages that occurred in Man of Steel to the city of Metropolis. Perhaps a certain Gotham billionaire is enlisted to help provide charitable contributions and efforts to restore the faith of a neighboring city and in the process a caped crusader investigates the story of krypton's last son.

Could even see Bruce working with Lex in the beginning, believing they could combine their efforts as two of the richest men in the world. And of course something would eventually make Batman realize Lex has motivations that do not coincide with his own.

Why in the world is it that everywhere I turn, I have to see an article on how this actor or that is backing Ben Affleck in the role for Batman?

I could see it if they ever put The Riddler back in a movie.

They never like to see their own being "slighted". Now if people put up objections and wariness like me and some others have than they can shut up! However, a lot of reactions i've seen have been of the "OMG THE WORLD IS GONNA END!" variety.

I read some guy saying Jay Mohr should be the Riddler. I don't think he was being serious.

I like JT but I have this funny feeling he would play The Riddler too much like Carrey. Just be overwhelming with the movement and hands.

Am I the only one that pictures Justin playing Riddler like that?

I prefer not to picture him as The Riddler at all.

Some universe building going on in here!

STAR Labs sighting; LEXCORP providing data to the military. Very small stuff, but it could lead into Supes vs Bats.
