Yep, that's what I've learned thanks to you putting me on the right path earlier this week. Thanks. Lesson learned now, glad that Best Buy had no issues with me taking the TV back. I think I'll be happy with the Samsung 64" plasma. Hopefully I won't notice that 1" difference in TV size :P

So I couldn't get them to price match it as it was in-store only and I don't have a Fry's around me. No luck for me with either Fry's or BuyDig...

It really seems like it's the luck of the draw with who you get/talk to at Best Buy. It's being delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to get it!

I got the TV delivered on Saturday and I absolutely love it. Gone are the dirty screen issues (or banding, not sure what the right term is). No more spotlights coming from the corners.

I also cannot believe how much better the response time is for the PS4. It's like I'm playing games for the first time. Players actually move when I want them to, not a little later. I used Game Mode on the previous TV (Samsung), but it still was an issue. Not anymore!

Only issue is that HDMI1 doesn't work (all the other ports work, so I can still use it). Called Best Buy and they are sending a replacement on Friday.

Just purchased a 50" Panasonic St60 for the PS4 upgrading from a 37" JVC LCD about 7 yrs old...

How big of a difference do you all think it'll be with my PS4

I'd say you'll be plenty pleased with your new set, but I'm wondering if the input lag will be okay (compared to that of your JVC).

I saw a tab on the ui for free year of netflix and hulu plus. I tried activating never received the email, so I called sony. They explained the tv needed to be purchased before 12/31. So just before I got off the phone I apologized for wasting their time and not looking at the small print....to my amazement they still extended me the free year or both.

Letsgobucs you might want to try it.

Nice. Definitely worth a shot or two. If the first CSR doesn't give it to you, try another.

Thinking about upgrading to the SVS PB-2000 from my BIC PL-200. Luckily SVS is awesome and has a 45 day free shipping both ways try out policy. Anyone here happen to have one?
