If you have a MICROCENTER near you just spend the extra 200 and get the B9 55 incher

It is a better version over the b8

    It has HDMI 2.1

And lower input lag from 21.5 to just about 13

It was online, sold out, price went back up to $1200 around noon yesterday. Check IGN, it was there for $999 for a few hours.

I'm going to wait it out until PS5/XBOX Series X comes out and probably look to buy something next Black Friday/SuperBowl.

For $200 I wouldn’t think twice and just get the B9 over the B8. You’re future proofing yourself.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

This is the year I'm going to upgrade my TV as mine isn't 4K and about 7 years old. I am mostly getting it for the ps5 so its nothing that I've got to have now. In my head I figured around the summer would be a good time. I'll post some of the details below let me know what models you think fits.

                  Around '75 inch
$ isn't a issue since its just me
I was looking at the Samsung Q90R
I want quality so Brand is important (I've had good luck with Samsung)
                  Don't need 8K (i assume)
Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

                  My Youtube

                  Twitter

                  PS5 ID = BubbasCruise

I read this article the other day and it mentioned a few things I would want to make sure it has with the ps5 if things go as planned. https://www.polygon.com/2020/3/4/211...-4k-8k-tv-hdmi

That is the most future proof tv you will be able to get at a great price at that time, with best of the best picture quality.

                        You will want 2.1 HDMI

Yes the CX will be coming out but not much difference for the price. C9 pretty much has everything you need for gaming with the PS5 or XSX even gaming PC lol

CX will offer support for Freesync, which the C9 doesn't support.

CX supports 4k120 over HDMI 2.0 (via 4:2:0), while C9 will not be getting this feature.

CX has 120Hz BFI versus C9 which does not (this is a major upgrade and will improve near-black uniformity by 50%)

Will that be worth the extra $1000+ he will be paying?

I don't see any advantage using 2.0 when the tv will have 2.1

I don't think Freesync will be that big of a deal since C9 has Gsync.

The third one may be a difference but I'm not that tech savvy to know what it means.

I thought CX biggest feature was actually a 48" model
