The speaker part isn't a issue as I'm going to buy a surround sound system. The C9 has the better HDMI, but then I saw most people saying that was likely to not be a issue. The GX has the better processor or something right ? I know it can also be mounted on the wall so that intrigues me.

I'm going to try and go to the local best buy within a few days and see if they have one in person. It seems like reviews for the GX are just now starting to come in and I have some time before the ps5 gets here.

The GX has the same processor as the CX, so it's just an updated processor, the Alpha 9 Gen 3. The GX can only be mounted, to my knowledge, it doesn't come with a stand.

What's the 4K run on those? Note that I probably won't even be able to take advantage of 4K stuff on there, but whatever. Might as well get the best technology out there, and I'm sure it's cheap regardless.

Smallest OLED that’s a TV is a 48”. You could maybe find an OLED Monitor. Smallest 4K TV is a 32”.

When I bought my house, it came with mounts already installed and I've hung my 55" TV on there and it's worked great. Is there a way to see how big of a TV the mount can hold?

            Of course there is.

My suggestion would be ill-advised, though. Once you find out the weight capacity, chunks of your wall will fall down.

You know, I thought about that! Then I realized I had no idea how to fix a wall so I thought I'd ask here.

I'm thinking about buying a 77" B9 OLED to hold me over. In 2013, I bought an LG 42", 2014 I bought a 55" Vizio and 2017 I bought a 55" 4k TCL. I've always bought the value choice but it's led to me buying a new TV every few years. If I splurge on the B9, how long can I expect it to last me and still be top of the line?

Well figuring the B9 isn't even the top of the line one offered, plus it's a 2019 model.

Maybe Scott or someone else here can help me out. I have an LG OLED C9 with ARC enabled to a Yamaha receiver. HDMI 2 is the ARC. Well the input always reads Playstation 4 and everytime I turn the TV on or my Xbox one, or any other system set to the receiver, my PS4 always turns on. How can I get this to stop? I just want to be able to turn on my other devices without the PS4 turning on every time. When I'm on Xbox One the input still says PS4. It's just weird. I have a pic included of how my input reads all the time. Thanks. 20200614_165358.jpeg

Sounds like CEC option is enabled. I don't own an LG, but of you'll need to find that setting in your TV and see if it's enabled

Thanks Joe. I know a little about CEC. Will it keep me from HDMI control with the receiver remote? No big deal if it does, if it will stop this.

To add to this, I just turned CEC off and it disabled my ARC as well. It seems like I can't have one without the other.

Receiver. The only input I have on TV is 1 HDMI from ARC on TV to ARC on Receiver.

This screen is from your LG correct. So the PS4 is the only thing running into the receiver via HDMI. If this is so, then that's why it keeps turning on when your receiver turns on

Yes. This is from the LG. So I have my Yamaha receiver connected to TV through HDMI 2 which is the ARC. No other HDMI cables are connected to the LG. HDMI 1 on Receiver is PS4, HDMI 2 is Xbox One, HDMI 3 is Switch.
