    Man I hope not.
Unless the vet and those who live with him can give more information of what's happening, I want the caravan to roll along.

Like Captain Zombie said, all of the characters are 1-dimensional and it's why so many people watching this show couldn't care less what happens to them.
Rick is getting to be a major walking cliche. We get it, you have to fix everything yourself. You're a super human that can give 84 pints of blood before feeling woozy and you still want to battle the entire zombie nation by yourself.
    Give it up already.
It would have been far more realistic and compelling if he knew that he couldn't do anything but stay by Carl's side and begged Shane to go after the supplies. He knows that Shane is more than capable to get the job done.
That would have been far more powerful. Rick relying on Shane and treasuring his toughness, all the while Shane knows he was boinking his wife.
Instead, we get the two of these losers locking foreheads while they sweat on each other and talk about how awesome they are.

Okay, I'm done complaining. Bring on ep3. If it's not good, I'm bailing on this show.
And I really hope the ratings show how most people watching aren't happy with the direction.
There's at least a dozen people I work with that are totally into it and only 1 of them is staying vigilante. But he's the only one who's read the comics so he has some attachment to it and knows how good this show should be.
The rest of us are growing restless.

Hank, the one thing that was bugging last night with what you said about Rick acting all superhuman was that he was so willing to leave his son to go find Shane. That pissed me off. What if for some crazy reason the doctor needed more blood from him? I go to my wife, how can they have him go find Shane if by slight chance Carl needs more blood or something happens to him. I know it's hard as a father to sit there and rely on someone else to bring back the supplies for your son's life........but no way I would leave the kid considering that I might be needed to give more blood.

The vet plot works in the comics and is an awesome climax, but it will be interesting to see what the show does with it.

there going to be at the farm for a while. Interesting to see if they fast forward the plot there. Also they've already changed the dynamic from the source with Rick/Lori/Shane....for the better? who knows.

Interested to see what happens to T-Bone or whatever his name is. The only brother left in the story. Remember he drank water that was "pink" and the way they filmed it looked like it would do something to him. Maybe the fact that he has a fever, along with drinking Zombie blood water, may make him turn into the "Blade" of the Zombie World.

Half human, half zombie, all T-Bone.

Also, doesn't help the showrunner gets fired, and they cannibalize the first two episodes Darabont and Kirkman wrote into one episode aka the premiere.

Plus, less money = less zombies.

If they want to stick with the farm for a little bit, I'm all for it. The farm was interesting in the comic, so I'm guessing that they will maintain some of that for the show.

                Spoiler

It's a TV show, though. They'll stick around, get everyone back as close to normal as they can, get to know each other, then something will cause them to move on. 3-4 episodes would be my guess.

I thought that was a Gatorade Rain. I just assumed they found one in a car they searched.

Sorry for wasting a post, but I didn't think a simple thumbs-up would do in this case.

I thought that too, but was it me, or did they make a big deal of him drinking the water.. It's like they focused on the color of the water.

Or maybe I was drinking some of that pink zombie water..

I don't remember them doing any camera zoom on the water or anything, but to be honest, I wasn't paying close attention to it. So you could be right. I guess we'll find out in the next couple of weeks.

If it was product placement it was the worst product placement ever. They could have at least said, I found a bottle of Gatorade instead of "trendy pick water" or whatever he said.
