Yeah Apple plus has been solid. Foundation is a really good sci fi show, Shrinking is excellent as well as Silo. It sucks that Severance is gonna take awhile to release its second season

We very much enjoyed Shrinking. Jason Segel plays the neurotic character well and ironically is a shrink.

I watched house of cards for 2 seasons. I watched half of S3E1 and just have zero interest in the show anymore.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

          Secret Invasion

Man, Marvel has gone down hill. That finale was a pretty big wtf. I don’t know where they are going with the MCU.

I actually liked parts of it, some great characters like Gravik but man they totally made some questionable choices. It definitely needed more episodes to flesh out the story.

I’ll come back and edit this to put more details in spoilers. It started out good but ended up disappointed.

Checked out the first episode of Twisted Metal on Peacock. It was alright. We’ll see how it goes. All 10 episodes available.

I was so excited about that show and it really disappointed. Some good points, but the finish was awful

I've caught the first two so far. Maybe I didn't know what direction this show was going to go, but it has a pretty silly tone (which I can jive with but I'm used to the grimness of the games) and is less "arena demolition derby" and more "open world survival" than anything else. Also, 30 minute episodes is a bummer.

Even still, I'll watch an episode a day and see how it pans out. It's too bad that David Jaffe isn't involved and this doesn't seem to be leading to a new PS5 game of any sort, though. I loved Twisted Metal for PS3, but online had severe connection issues and it led to no one playing online, and SP was limited to only playing as a couple of characters instead of everybody. But still, franchises like that, WipEout, SSX, etc. should see their return to consoles sooner than later.

I only watched it because Jackson was in it but I agree it was not very good at all.

Watched it to the end I thought the first few seasons were head and shoulders above how they finished it off.

Yeah, I can't even remember the last season I watched.

I was an N64 guy and a friend had a PlayStation, so that was the extent of my Twisted Metal exposure. I was playing Vigilante 8, ha. But I knew TM was the game for that style of play. You’re right that the show is kinda forging its own way, just using the loose story of the series and characters as a connection.
