My fiance bought it last night and we watched it again. I liked it in the theater but I must say I liked it even more the second time.

Read the book thought the movie left quite a bit out. The movie just seemed to jump from place to place without much background info. Enjoyed the book MUCH more.

I'm still hoping against hope that a directors cut is still coming but they just kept it quiet to get more sales for the theatrical cut. Extremely unlikely but a guys can dream.

Tried to watch this and I just didn't care for it. About 2/3 in I decided I had enough. Different strokes for different folks.

Those were my exact feeling walking out of the theater when it came out.
It being PG 13 also hurt a lot of the fighting scenes that happened.

I liked it better the second time too. I wasn't as hyped up for it this time, it was just another I enjoyed in the theaters and was happy to see again on Blu-ray. I knew this time what was in the movie and what was left out so I could just enjoy the movie, which I did a lot. Can't wait for Catching Fire.

Everyone seemed to really enjoy Hunger Games. I am looking forward to the next one and how the games will play out. I have avoided reading the books.

I'm kind of the same way, though I did like it a lot my first time too. The 2nd time there wasn't the hype and I could just watch and enjoy. Good movie either way, but I know several other people who enjoyed it more the 2nd time around.

I got to check this out tonight. I loved it. The story was pretty interesting, and the actual Hunger Game sequences are gripping. Jennifer Lawrence does a fine job in the lead role, and the supporting cast are pretty good too (Woody Harrleson in particular). It was a bit too tame for a fight to the death type movie, the love aspect feels forced, and a few characters were useless (Elizabeth Banks). I agree with some critics who said that the movie kind of ended abruptly. Way too much happens in the film's third act and could of benefited from not having a furious pace. I really enjoyed it and I'm anticipating the sequel next November.

I thought it was really good. Would have liked more development but understand with the time they had.

Got the Blu-Ray and watched it for a second time this weekend (this time after reading the books). I picked up on a number of things after reading the books that I never would have noticed before. They skipped a few things in the end that were in the book. I suppose I'll spoiler this for anyone who hasn't seen it:
