Netflix has The Hunger Games for whoever is interested. I just found out. I think it's been out since April 2nd.

Trailer for Catching Fire came out, pretty chilling.

Looks good. I just don't know how they're going to fit everything from Catching Fire into one movie without it feeling rushed.

Is Hoffman playing Plutarch? Pretty much would have to be based on the scenes shown in the trailer.

I hope this is better than the first movie, which while decent, left out some key elements from the book.

Though I disliked the storytelling of the first film, I liked the books so much I will have to watch this. Bleh me.

I liked the first film. I didn't love it, but it was good. That is, however, by far the best book, imo. So we'll see.

I liked all the books and thought the 1st movie was good. This was probably my favorite book in the series.

I think in the book it was said they were already decided, but there were suspicions it was planned by snow. In universe.

Gotcha. I must have forgotten about them suspecting that it was planned.

I believe that's right. It could be wrong but I think there was suspicion. At least it would make sense.

It wasn't decided prior. The only thing people knew was that something different would happen because the rules always changed at that mark.

Just like with THG, I was really disappointed with the trailer. I ended up liking the THG, so I may have to see this if I can catch a matinee. But I'm not exactly pumped up for it.
