Looks good. I just don't know how they're going to fit everything from Catching Fire into one movie without it feeling rushed.

Is Hoffman playing Plutarch? Pretty much would have to be based on the scenes shown in the trailer.
I hope this is better than the first movie, which while decent, left out some key elements from the book.Currently Playing:

Though I disliked the storytelling of the first film, I liked the books so much I will have to watch this. Bleh me.

I liked the first film. I didn't love it, but it was good. That is, however, by far the best book, imo. So we'll see.

Judging by the trailer it looks like (NOTE: The following is an actual spoiler for those who have yet to read the book.)
SpoilerThey are going to be treating the "only victors" quarter quell as though it was come up with by Snow to put down the revolution... in the books, weren't the quarter quells already decided as to what they were going to be from the first year they started the Games?MLB: Minnesota Twins
NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
NBA: Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves
European Football: Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion
NCAA: UNI Panthers, Iowa Hawkeyes

I think in the book it was said they were already decided, but there were suspicions it was planned by snow. In universe.Judging by the trailer it looks like (NOTE: The following is an actual spoiler for those who have yet to read the book.)

It wasn't decided prior. The only thing people knew was that something different would happen because the rules always changed at that mark.

Gotcha.
SpoilerFor some reason I seemed to remember them saying that they drew up the Quarter Quells from the day they decided to start the Games. Obviously I remembered wrong.MLB: Minnesota Twins
