If you order from Newegg you can get a 30 day free trial of ShopRunner. Free two day shipping on most items. There is also Newegg Premier which includes more items. Shoprunner includes lots of other sites too. You can also use Visa Checkout on Newegg with any credit card and get 10% off (up to $20).

I'm spending more of your money, but I might look at this RAM. G Skill is a reliable memory brand and this particular product has won customer's choice every month for most of the year.

What do you guys think? Seems like a solid build to me, but again, I'd like it to be viable for future upgrades as well. Does this build give me room to upgrade features as I choose?
That's really strong for $530. Though, the graphics card outweighs the processor a bit. Most games will look good with that build.

And yeah, pretty much any self-built CPU is going to be conducive to upgrades. You just have to make sure that when you do purchase upgrades, you make sure that your other hardware is compatible with that upgrade.

Well guys I desperately need your help again. Before I used my TV as a monitor through hdmi however when we moved today when I went to connect my PC to the tv the picture never showed up. I even replaced the hdmi and tried it on my PS4 and Xbone and it works flawlessly. I even took and hooked the PC to the TV I was using before the move and it still doesn't work. It's driving me crazy. Please help!

EDIT: Fixed It

I've been waiting for an 8 core non Xeon Intel CPU for a while. I also been waiting for DDR4 to come out for a while as well. The time has finally come.

Ok I got a 47 inch tv now but the sides around my screen are black, like a border. How do I fix that?

using HDMI?

need to go into video settings and change the overscan setting to fit the screen.

If it's an AMD/ATI video card, it's under Catalyst Control Center > My digital Flat-Panels > Scaling Options.

Re: Official "I want to build a New PC!" Thread

Any recommendations on a new graphics card without breaking the bank?
My old GeForce 660 went bad and somehow shorted out my motherboard.
I replaced the MB....(this is when I found out the GPU was bad as well)....and now I need to replace the GPU.

I'm thinking the GTX 750ti or the 760ti.....
Any thoughts on any GPU at all...those or anything you've got.
Looking to spend anywhere from $150 to $300.
I'd love to be around $200 if it's worth it.

The rest of my specs are good mid-level gaming PC parts...not earth shattering but not low end or ancient(getting there though )

Thanks.

M.K.

The 970/980 has me thinking about upgrading my 680 too. Though if I do, I'd probably want to overhaul my entire rig. Other than the 680, I haven't changed a thing since I originally built it in 2009.

Yeah, I just kept waiting and watching the words "Out of Stock" keep popping up. If the MSI 4G version had been available when I woke up I may have bit.

Hey guys.

Any feedback on this particular prebuilt desktop ?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883156299

I'm looking to order something pre built (I'm in Japan so I'm limited on options). I really just want to use the PC for some light gaming because I all ready have a PS4 and for Graphic Design.

Is it worth the price tag ? If not, have you ran across any other good deals on an all ready built towers ?

Also, I have a 32" 1080 LED TV right now on my desk and I have no more room. I'm considering selling it and downsizing to something in the 20's. For gaming purposes, wouldn't you think a 32" would be a little too much ?

I also wonder how great the quality would be for the video output.

I know some of these are vague questions and thoughts, but if anyone more informed could break it down for me in terms a PC technology ignorant person could understand that would be great.

Again, I won't need the tower for any crazy gaming.. just some games I can't get for PS4 and were multiplatform for last gen and maybe a few PC exclusives.

Thanks for any advice or input you may have. The only other thing I can think to mention is I need something that won't be crazy hard to upgrade in the future when I get back to the states.

I have a Intellinet router and have had it since a little before the 360 was first released, well now it's losing internet service off and on so probably time to get another router. Walmart, Target, and Office Depot are the only stores really close that would have a good router. Which is good as far as gaming or does it matter. Only one I know other than my Intellinet is Linksys...should I go with one of those?

Edit: And now it's working fine, hasn't lost connection since before I originally posted this...when I connected straight to my PC I didn't seem to lose connection once. Now I'm not sure if the service itself was messed up or if it was my router..
