My take from that is people are still satisfied with Windows 7. Win 7 will continue to hold strong.

It's almost like M$'s mantra is, "If it ain't broke, we'll break it and then try to fix it."

(btw, update downloads are still acting like my pc is DL'ing W10....)

I honestly didn't want to bother with it because i was cool with Windows 8 myself, but its been just fine for me.

Only thing not working is NBA 2k14 pc, which i've yet to look into but nothing else is giving me a problem at all.
Not sure my brother but it's working fine...just tested after I saw your post..

I'm completely committed to 7. If I ever end up going 10 it will be once its fully patched and fixed, even if I have to pay for it. I don't mind paying but I'm not subjecting myself to a free beta tester.

Yes, and here's how they'll do it: "M$ will no longer support Windows 7 as of Dec. 31st, 2015. We will no longer provide security updates and fixes for those computers running Windows 7 operating system. Have a nice day."

Their user base of installed win 7 machines is still far too high. They barely stopped supporting xp or Vista (I forget) this year.

I realize you're being somewhat facetious tho.

Yeah Windows 12 will be out by then...that's not surprising they did the same thing with W7 and 8 right before releasing 10...

Right click exe in steam and check integrity of files and steam will fix it.

                        Re: Windows 10

There are no announced plans for more Windows versions (other than that they're not coming), hence the commercials of kids 'growing up' with Windows 10. Maybe major service packs will eventually adjust the title but 10 and it's stream of updates are what MS is referring to as their Windows as a service.

The first update is already to fast ring insiders.

Last year, but eventually they're going to kill support because it'll be their way to make you upgrade. Apple does this all the time

Did all that man, and nothing. I mean nothing at all

Just went in deep and had to
Authorize digital signature certificate and it worked. Almost like tou have to verify the license.

There's something very sad about that statement.
