All of them are going up. It was bound to happen. They were losing money or making nothing to just get people interested. It will soon be the price of cable without fees for # of boxes.

And the ability to plug in anywhere including rooms without a coax connection is a huge selling point for me. I never thought the bargain rates would last.

Amazon Prime and FOX carries TNF games from Week 4 on, NFLN simulcasts them. NFLN carries the 930AM EST games from the UK and they have 3 games in late December — not sure if these are exclusive or not.

I mostly like NFL Network because I use it like how we all used to use ESPN, throw it on in the background/default channel. I love Good Morning Football.

Finally was able to get Comcast to cancel our cable while keeping our internet at an affordable price (by adding a telephone, but whatever, we won't even plug that in). I'm so damn happy. Between the PS4 apps, firestick, and chromecast, we really had no need for cable anymore.

Count me in on this too. Sounds like me and FT utilized the PS4 primarily and are now in the market for other devices to become our entertainment hub.

Honestly this has me analyzing my setup in general. Laptop and cast to the TV? Dedicate a tower to the TV for pure "entertainment" computing. Or just use a USB device for simplification.

The only live TV we watch is basketball/Olympics (when they're on) so outside of basketball season we're streaming old shows. If we can integrate League Pass into a streaming service that would be great rather than using a separate app for LP (which is what PlayStation does).

I use the Nvidia Shield (just bought the new Pro and also have an earlier version). Runs on Android TV so it's in my ecosystem, and it has fast navigation with all the features...Dolby Vision/Atmos, good 4K scaling, and tons of apps. Only have streaming services, but had YouTube TV during the Women's World Cup and it worked great.

                              Re: Cord cutting

I cancelled AT&T TV finally. They are pushing our package to $60/mo.

I explained to them why I'm cancelling and they explained how we won't find the same channels for the price and while they are right they have also went from $30 to $60 from April until December. I think they are just purposely pricing people out of their original Go Big package because they don't want to carry it in anymore. So I cancelled and started a Hulu Live trial.

I like it, but it's also going up in December to $55/mo. and we can't get ABC as a local channel. That's sort of a problem for sports fans so I'm now trying YT TV. I like it the most so far because of how simple it is.

We could probably bundle Spectrum Internet with TV, but the basic TV package doesn't have some sports channels and you still have to pay extra for boxes, DVR, etc.. so it's still cheaper to stream.

Yeah I saw today that Hulu is going up $10. I have YTTV currently and it is my choice because of the virtually unlimited DVR capacity. With this move by Hulu can another price increase for YTTV be far behind?
