For NFL and NHL I have a web site that steams every game. Can't believe I was paying $300.00 for NFL Sunday ticket for years when I could have been using the interweb.

The only real expense is the Supercross / Motocross package I subscribe to from NBC Gold. Got a package deal on both seasons for $75.00

My only complaint is it takes Netflix way to long the get new seasons of shows. They still do not have season 4 of Better Call Saul yet and it ended on regular TV months ago. It also sucks when the cancel a show out of nowhere , see Santa Clarita Diet. Wish it was next day like Hulu.

So pretty much with the monthly savings I can buy a new video game every month. But I usually wait for sales so that's more than a game a month.
Get a Firestick or android box and I can tell you how to watch all your shows and sports.
And with that added savings you can buy 2 maybe 3 video games every month!

I’m using a FiOS login from a cable subscription, but it allows me to stream on phone but not off my laptop for Disney Jr. That’s where my confusion comes from.

        Regardless, it’s a temporary problem.

I got my old man uncle all set up yesterday. Now, this guy is old school as it gets but the little I shared with him got him curious enough for me to show him. It didn't take but just a few minutes for him to be impressed with the quality. He'll be saying goodbye to a $200+ Dish bill for a $50 PSV bill.

Times are a changing and I love it.

And you are still paying 35 bucks too much for too little.

You still need an app of some kind with a fire stick. I'm assuming you're talking about using less than legal methods, though?

                  For the last time.
                  Streaming IS NOT illegal .
                  Downloading is.
And putting apps on the firestick is easier than picking your nose.

I really cut the cord six months back and won’t ever go back.
And this thread is about cutting the cord right ?

I didn't say it was difficult, I just meant that a fire stick alone won't do much for you.

Well really cutting the cord means only using free tv services so basically any free tv app or ota channels broadcast. Whether u pay 5-10 bux for 1 stream from iptv reseller or 50 bux for 5 streams for live tv channels from a larger service its all the same thing.

                      Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....

Cutting the cord refers to disconnecting from traditional cable, not using "only free tv service". You can make up your own definition, as it appears you have, but that don't make it so in regards to what people are talking about.

The only cord attached to my TV is the power cord.

Its not really cutting the cord if for example your leaving directv for directvnow, there basically the same thing with less hardware and a lower fee, hence why most traditional tv services are offering iptvs of their own.

You’re really making something out of nothing.

Half the point of cutting the cord is getting out from contract based TV too. If I decide to cancel DirecTV Now it wouldn’t matter. If you try to cancel Satellite there is a fee unless the 2 year agreement is up and literal cords, cables, dishes, and boxes to remove.
