I'm still waiting for that one mod that will enhance the graphics for the entire game in Morrowind. I still have a PC copy to go along with the XBox copy.

I'll definatly get it for xbox360. I rather play on the big tv and coach instead of crouching over in front of my computer. Plus, I think there will be a possibility of mods on the 360 in the future.

Dan: Yeah, it's pretty clear that Oblivion isn't really meant to be played in third-person mode. It's a neat thing to have so you can see your character running around and occasionally fighting, but it's sort of hard to tell exactly what's going on in front of you, controls aren't as tight, and aiming with spells is pretty difficult. I consider that camera view to be more of a novelty than anything else.
That quote sort of throws me back. I usually only play in 3rd person, as I'm not much of a First person view kind of player. I'm going to have to wait until I hear some impressions of those who play it in 3rd Person. If it doesn't feel right, like Dan is saying, then I may pass on the game. I know, what doesn't seem like anything major, is pretty big for me. No doubt, I'll probably pick it up, but the longevity may not be there if 3rd person is flawed.

Yeah, same with me, for me, third person is extremely imoprtant, its the only way i can play most games...

I'll be getting this on PC. 360 achievements don't mean much to me, I love the WASD controls, I like using mouse clicks and hotkeys to control things like inventory, and I'm used to moving the camera around with the mouse from playing MMORPGs on PC. Plus, if I ever wanted to use a controller, I'll just use the 360 controller I have hooked up to my PC once it's fully supported by the game.

Plus, the game should look good on my 30" monitor.

I hate most all rpg's, but I absolutley loved morrowind. At least give it a rent when it comes out.

I'm looking forward to it. I had fun with Morrowind for about a month or two, but then got bored because the story wasn't engaging me. From the looks of things, Oblivion's main story will be more interesting and easier to follow. The quests are going to be deeper and more imaginative. Also, the improvements to the combat system look great. Overall gameplay should be much more fun. I'm pumped.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the new combat system. I hope they completly obliviate (hehe) the old combat system.
