I'm gonna be very interested to see if this is my same console or a new replacement console. Gonna check the serial number first thing. I would feel better if it was a new replacement console, but hey, as long as it works. I checked the tracking number again, and it's listed as departing origin from Texas. Hopefully I'll have it by the day after tommorrow (Thursday).
It would be nice because I'm leaving for VA Friday morning. But seeing as it's gonna take two trips to move all my stuff down there (I'm renting a UHAUL truck for 3 days) Friday or Saturday would be ok as well. It only took 2 and 1/2 days to get it shipped down there, so that seems like a reasonable time table. Just glad to finally be getting it back. What truly confuses the hell out of me is the vast variety of responses I got from reps and supervisors. One tells me my console is no where to be found, the next one tells me it's repaired and ready to go with a tracking number. I don't get, probably never will. Once I get it back, I'm sending in the paper work and money for the MS warrenty. My manufactur's expires in early March. The maximum is a 3 year warrenty for about 70 bones. I'm gonna get that one, and have a little peace of mind. Hopefully I don't ever have to send it out again, and if I have to it'll get back to me in a more timely fashion. Anyway, can't wait to start playing NBA2K6, PGR3, and COD2 again. Not to mention Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion in March, that game is gonna be sick!
