Yup, and that very guy who started the rumor said, and I quote...

nothing is confirmed. I said that the prices for the pre-orders are $399-$599

So, wheter or not the system will have two models is pure speculation on my part. Howver, like I've said 6 times so far. The price for the pre-order seems to be locked between $399, and $599.

so all this two sku's nosense is just some gamestore rumor.

This makes it sound like the $399 unit will still be able to play blu-ray games, just not movies. That's doesn't seem to really add up.

At any rate, if the price for this thing is $599, I think I can handle that. Now if the $800 rumor holds true, that might be another story...

APOC, why not just sit back and wait for some real official information. It's obvious that no one here has anything good to say about speculation so posting about it will prolly only get you arguing with them.

Just do what me and countryboy (and others) are doing and just sit down and wait. Official information will be out this month, no need for anymore speculation.

We probably won't be hearing from [him] since it he has been exposed as using multiple logins.

Great post ICT. Info will be here soon, until then we can speculate that it will do just about anything. Personally I like Fishepa's idea of having the PS3 serve as a microwave as well as an entertainment system.
