Re: Official Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Discussion
As much as I have played this game, I only completed the main storyline once, and that was when I was playing on the 360 and did everything else. I don't think it really makes too much of a difference when you do it though.
Well, if you like the game and wish there was even more to do, you really should go ahead and get it for the pc.PS: You guys are great.

The only thing I don't like about the gates is that when you're exploring (even early on) gates kind of just appear and I usually have to run away, lol.

Re: Official Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Discussion
Gonna start this game again, but I'm debating what race I should be. I like combat and magic and going fast, and Dark Elf offers all of this... but I just don't know if I should be that. I'm always a Dark Elf. But then, I do love it. My best character ever was an Orc. He had full Daedric, lots of enchantments and was basically a tank, but it got ridiculous to kill enemies. It took me 10 minutes to kill a goblin. I get it leveling up with you, but each creature that is a zombie up is the same difficulty. I get them being more difficult, but still make it a scale so that it only takes 1-2 minutes to kill them. Like it takes the same amount of time to kill it at higher levels than if you were just starting out, if anybody gets what I'm saying.
To make it simple: It's scaled to be the same killing time throughout the game.Comment

yea but then you have to do soul traps, then recharge the weapon. Going Invisible is by far the quickest way to close themMy dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Official Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Discussion
That, too.
I have a level 9 redguard going strong now. I'm not doing the Main Quest with him, just all the factions, a bunch of side quests and random dungeon exploring. He's level 9 with almost full elven, just missing the sword shield and helm. I know where I'm going to get a pretty good sword (the honour blade of Chorrol) and soon I'll be the grand master of the Fighters Guild, then I'll start the Mages Guild. Then the Dark Brotherhood, then the Thieves Guild. I'll need an invisibility spell because I can't sneak for crap.
Anybody know any random dungeon that is supposed to have good armour? And Bandits? I hate fighting off creatures and wild animals. I like Bandits and Marauders the best. Normal opponents, you know? Also gonna do Daedric Shrines. Umbra will be mine in 11 more levelsComment
