I'm actually pondering the pickup again. I've got some time off of work, and reading these posts make me miss how open and everchanging this game can be. It's hilarious, reading through the random things that have happened. And it was a great game with a great story.

If the portals/gates were a little different, then it would have been awesome. But instead, all the same.

Wow. Do you have that installed? I was thinking about picking it up for the 360, but I may go for the PC version if that's the case.

If you've got that installed, can you grab a few screens? I don't know why they release such a mod, but no pictures or videos of the changes. Looks amazing though.

If you're going to pick it up again, get the PC version. There are some incredible mods out there. I liked the 360 version but the PC version IMO is better just because of the mods.

They got screenshots. Click on "Images" and then "User Uploaded Images". There are 16 of em'. I do have it installed but I'm having an issue with meshes I'm trying to figure out. And definitely definitely go with the PC version, even more bang for your buck.

Man, I haven't even started downloading mods (finally got my new video card so i can play this today), and i'm already pulling my hair out. There is just way too much information out there on which mods to get, how to install, what's compatible, etc. I'm just looking for the easiest way to install atleast one mod that overhauls the game (static levels, more creatures, etc.), one to give me a ton of new equipment (weapons, armor, etc.), and one to make the game look better. I just don't have a clue how to install any of these and get them working. I've heard FCOM is awesome, but looking at guides on how to install it, I think i'd go nuts trying to install it.

Also, do I need to download all patches for the game, or just the newest patch?

I sent you a pm man and yeah it's definitely intimidating at first. Like anything though, the more you do it, the more you'll get used to it and the less hard it'll be. If you're going to go through the whole shebang, just read carefully and accept that you're going to make some mistakes here and there.

Regarding patches you want to update to 1.2.0416.

Playing last night I had a major WTF moment.

So I was doing the Dark Brotherhood questline and I had just killed

and went to the Imperial City to do the part of the quest that gets you the bonus. Well I ended up being chased by guards for the longest time with something like 1000 bounty. So I just said screw it, I'm going to pay the bounty so I don't have to deal with this crap anymore.

Ok, so I get set in the Prison district like always when I pay off my bounty. Well, just as I appeared there, a guard falls over and dies. Nothing killed him, I didn't touch him as he was across from me at the gate where you exit to the City Isle.
He just fell over, dead. He was an imperial palace guard, at that, wearing that cool armor. He had a name, but it escapes me as to what it was. It was so random. I don't know what happened. It's hard to describe, it'd be easier if I could actually show you guys what occurred, it was just too funny.

Wow, I just started feeling the urge to pop this sucker in a few minutes ago before the Bears/Lions game. I think this is my first time playing the game for real. It is interesting. Hard to get into since I'm use to the Two Worlds setup.

Plus your character doesn't have to look like complete crap anymore...



...custom classes too,that one is only available for females though.

Yeah, but my PC can't run it at the time. I'm thinking about just going strict PC for games this year. NBA 2k11 and Oblivion should keep me going for a while. Mafia II with a wild card pickup.

That will give me a reason to upgrade my PC

What difficulty does everyone play on? I'm trying to figure out why it's so hard for me to fight EVERYTHING. Any tips from some of you oblivion vets? I want to like this game but the constant reloading is wearing this title thin on me. I do have it on the highest difficulty.

Just started another game on my 360. I put over 100 hours into my last save and just love this.
