The controller looks cool, going back to the SNES design.
I don't know why you would want to buy a Wii though if you aren't interested in the "Wiimote" controller. That's pretty much the main draw of the system.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii (Revolution) Information, hardware, games discussion
Originally posted by MisfitYeah, it can play Gamecube games and Gamecube controllers can be plugged into the Wii. The new controller is for N64, SNES, and NES games though I suppose it could also be used for some Gamecube titles and I don't see why a Gamecube controller wouldn't work for the older games as well.

You can browse the net with the Wii. It has the Opera browser built in which should be cool.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii (Revolution) Information, hardware, games discussion
Is the Wii starting too grow on you Candy?
This thing looks pretty niffty.
Sony lost me at E3... maybe by the fall they can win me back, but I'm not really thinking they can. BUT, 2007 will be a different story. I'm going to wait and see what kind of bugs the systems have... how bad the taken out features of the $499 model hurt the system...BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Originally posted by candyman56Wii is starting to grow on me. I'm still trying to decide between the two, but I'm leaning towards Wii due to price. Only time will tell.
It's rare that I have someone who buys more than me!

If Mario & Zelda are launch titles I might be sold. How can you pass up that combo.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii (Revolution) Information, hardware, games discussion
Originally posted by MisfitZelda will be available at launch for both the Wii and Gamecube, but Mario Galaxy won't debut until sometime in 2007.
A Nintendo console launch and no Mario. This is the second launch that this has occured just like with the Gamecube.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii (Revolution) Information, hardware, games discussion
Yeah but at least Zelda is making the launch for the first time ever, as far as I know. Granted its not a "true" Wii game it should still be awesome. Though it is weird to have a Nintendo launch without Mario. I know the Gamecube didn't launch with a Mario title, but it did have a Luigi one...Comment
