Just preordered and paid for GH2 at my local EB Games and they are saying 10/31/06 for release. Are they on crack?

Dethklok? The band name on Metalocalypse?

There's some not-so-free publicity for Adult Swim.

And Trogdor? Oh man, I'm gonna have a hard enough time getting through that without cracking up (especially if the vocal is close to the original StrongBad one. )

Sorry if this has been posted:

Red Octane Premiers Wireless Guitar Hero Controller

A good session of Guitar Hero will bring out the rock star in anyone who's ever dreamed about what it would be like to get on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans and melt their faces with some legendary shredding. The game can be a convincing simulation, perhaps a little too convincing if you take into account the many times we've jerked the PS2 right off the shelf while leaping around the room in our best impression of Angus from AC/DC.

Red Octane obviously knows where we're coming from, and has developed a wireless version of the mini Gibson SG we've come to know and love. Set to release in November to coincide with the launch of Guitar Hero II, the wireless PS2 guitar will sport a new glossy white finish and a slightly more angular styling. Suggested retail price shall be $59.99.

Why not a wireless 360 controller? WTF?

I'll stick with the guitar that comes with the game.

We had our family over today for both my kids birthdays, my brother, brother-in-law, and I were playing GH1 for a good 3 hours. I only have 1 guitar so we were switching off on each song, this game is so addictive. I guess on 11/7 I'm going to get GH2 with the guitar, they want for Thanksgiving to be able to play multiplayer and only makes sense to go this route since GH2 is $50 and I would only be getting the guitar for $30.

I'm sure that will coincide with the 360 launch in the spring.

I don't play it enough to warrant purchasing a wireless guitar. If I didn't already own the guitar from the first then I definitly would get the wireless one though.

I'm a huge Harmonix fan w/ Frequency and Amplitude (one of my favorite games ever) being constant fixtures in my PS2. I've persisted that it was too much money to for Guitar Hero but I can't hold off anymore, the soundtrack for GH2 is just too awesome.

I went to prepay at GS today for GH2 w/ guitar and their not taking anymore prepays. I guess I must hit up BB, Walmart, or Target on Tuesday.

Damn they are getting greedy. It seems like once you are done buying the various guitars and updates you'll be over $200 easily.

My local Best Buy does pre orders, so it looks like I may put some money down over there so I can be guaranteed GH2.
